Don't worry, You easties don't give a whit about anything that is "binding" How about you just delay it for the next 5 years (while you get paid LOA93)

Entitlement East...the amusement thy give is like Christmas every day...

How much is that early retirement check. Whoever did the hiring for Franke skimmed the bottom of the pool. Could you imagine even being involved in the early AWA years when Franke ran the show? Nobody but nobody wanted the stink of Franke on them except for the DESPERATE. Tell us more of the great years, before the double bankruptcy.

Are you so ignorant that you don't know the difference between the west and the east. It was the east the was in double BK not the west.

Aside from completely Fking up everything a labor union is supposed to do for it's members, the East pilots also specialize in revisionist history.

That's true. The West was only in one bankruptcy...for twice as long. Right?

I'm just kidding, but AWA was in bankruptcy from 91 to 94.

USAPA to Meet with US Airways on Merger Contract

US Airways and its pilots are scheduled to meet today in Tempe to discuss terms of a tentative agreement the carrier has signed with the union pilots of American. Both US Airways President Scott Kirby and USAPA President Gary Hummel will be present at the session, which will be the first formal meeting between USAPA leaders and top management on this issue.

This morning, USAPA Communications Chairman James Ray was quoted in The Street, stating the following in regard to USAPA's merger concerns:

"They say that our flying would be protected until we get a common certificate, but that could be a year (after a merger)," Ray said. "Our view is that those protections should be in place until there is a full merger and all of the fences are down," which could take several years. Fences are contract assurances that pilots can retain their existing flying -- which, for a Charlotte pilot, for instance, would be the right to fly Charlotte flights.

"This is hammering out deficiencies we see in the term sheet with APA," Ray said. "There has been some agreement on this, in a memorandum of understanding that has been passed back and forth, but the two sides need to sit down face to face and talk it out."

The Nic noose is getting tighter and you idiots are starting to squirm even more.

Now your little game plan of base fences is your last and most desperate attempt to undercut the award but it ain't going to happen.

Parker laughed that off the table.

The most you'll see when it comes to base fences is between us and AA and that will be for a relatively short time. In the mean time, I'll be moving to Davidson.

Can't wait to see all you guys out there. LMAO.

At the Pilot for Pilot meeting yesterday, a pilot asked Gary Hummel if the pilots would get to vote on any agreement he is making with the company. His answer should alarm pilot here with how he worded it. They would get to vote on a TA, but not a MOU.

An MOU is a Memorandum of Understanding which could be binding on the pilot group here. An MOU is what he is negotiating. The devil is in the details. In law, there is almost always a built in exception to a rule. An MOU can be an agreement between USAPA and the company but falls through the cracks on whether we will get a vote.

This is why secret negotiations are so dangerous and why we are so alarmed. Stay tuned. Your future is being decided by people that may not have your best interest in mind.
Brought to you by the compass corruption boys, USAPA is now worse than ALPA was. Oh wait a minute they are the same ALPA boys, no wonder.

What's the matter Borman? I watched you sweat as you spied in your own pilots. I was wondering if it was from your fatness or fear.

Which was it?

You are far and away the biggest idiot on this thread.

Here is a clue..if ya want to try and insult someone..use a thing called a fact.

For instance, it is a fact that the Wein scabs did the aviation community and the public at large a great service by keeping your uncle out of the air if he was as inept as his nephew.

See how that works???? um,,,, what am I talking about you are too stupid to actually to get the point.
