Um..the West requalified around 40-50 displaced captains in the last 10 months.

Now...it is somewhat of a hollow gain ...getting back a seat that was stolen from you...but hey...they got em back...and the rest of the West is looking for our payback also.

Nic4 and the angry F/O s are seeking another scabbing opportunity. They have been trained by the best of Franke s' troops. Ask them for their excuses when they scabbed all over the world. Some are very entertaining. I am sure Nic4 has one already thought of, again..........

An extremely interesting and enlightening view into the heads of the Franke hires. The entitlement syndrome is telling. They have been raised in a world of quotas, subsidies and bailouts. So much so they have an extremely distorted view of reality. One would imagine they have most likely never used a rotary dial phone, nor fueled a vehicle without Ethanol added in.
It is rather entertaining though. The denial of the Nicolau Award is especially galling to their psyche. They have finally gone up against the wall in their entitled world, and it is extremely disturbing to them. Nic4 is especially rattled by the unfolding and unraveling of the Nicolau Experiment.

My half cent's worth Bean?....Hmmm...Unless one's furloughed; I wouldn't. With merger-mainia/likely arbitration/etc in possible play; I'd see good survivalist sense indicated by getting back aboard the rustbucket anywhere, rather than potentially be subject to some arbitrator's whims that might be hugely unfavorable to furloughed folks. Who can ever know what's around the next corner of any airline/carnival fun house ride though?

Seriously Bean. The simple answer is you cannot move east. The separate operations ensures that situation. A westerner would absolutely take an eastern position under loa 93 as it would be a raise. The 757 and 330 rates are much higher. Your 757 rates are the lowest in the industry, anywhere. You neglected to mention that.

The entitlement is extremely evident. Nic4 wants years of credit in an airline where he was somewhere else. Perhaps grade school. Now the installation of USAPA has thwarted his entitlement. He is looking for payback. He should be looking for........help.
