This is no life or death issue that's being dealt with here. No one's being shot at during any of this, much less killed.

Second, Zone5 brought up Silver and asked if we knew how she became Chief Justice for the district.....I quote..

Third, how do you know there are no life or death issues? When a scab outfit like usapa steals someones job, they also steal their medical insurance, and their life insurance. Breeze has once again solicited on behalf of his daughter. A very worthy cause and likely to get support from both east and West pilots. Where would he be if he had his job stolen and lost his medical coverage?

In other words, she understands the concept of DOH, because that's why she has the top job on the bench in Arizona today.

Silver is a federal court judge. I am sure she is familiar with the concept of DOH. I am also sure she is familiar with being appointed to the bench based on merit and political party affiliation.....i.e. the real reason she wears the robe she has today.

So, I would think she understands that a seasoned arbitrator who awarded positions based on position and status, probably got it right.

I think it means that she personally, has an understanding and appreciation of the concept of DOH.

Whether it will have any bearing on how she ultimately rules is anybody's guess. There is a Count 4 available to her, which could be whatever she wants it to be.

Well sort of.....the east had been through mergers before...and DOH is not the sequencing factor to the east list, but your DOH led you to the position you held at your former company, from that position Nic derived his list.

but let me get this straight....You think that regardless of how she was appointed to the circuit court, and the circumstances that caused her promotion, you think Silver will be influenced by her "understanding and appreciation of the concept of DOH" to rule in a manner favorable to the east and contrary to what every interested party to date (except usapa) has declared the "fair" means of integration?

You could be right I suppose...but i think Silver...being a judge...and more interested in dispensing justice than appeasing a rogue union in its DOH quest, will likely uphold contract law and the RLA.

I only use the scab word either specifically regarding certain individuals....i.e. scab Bradford...scab Mowery...etc.

Or, as a general term to discribe usapa supports who are actively persuing other peoples jobs.
