Well, LCC is now less than a bottle of Pepsi..!! CEO still at the helm and the monkeys are still running the zoo.

Lets see if the can get under a $1.00 by the end of the week. Come on you can do it Tempe…make us proud.

I'm saying it again: Glad I sold it all when it hit $80/share in 1998 and that I haven't bought a single one since.
Now if somehow the rest of my finances would work out so well...

So US will be selling cans of soda for more than a share of their stock? That's simply tragic.

I GOT IT!!!!!!!!

"Starting August 1st flight attendants will be coming through the cabin to offer your choice of cocktails for $7, soft drinks for $2 and USAirways Stock for $1,50 per share....exact change is appreciated"

🙄 Have you looked at the other airline stocks lately? They have all gone down the (toilet. Edited by Moderator). WE (LCC) obviously are not alone in this current airline crisis.

We could advertise that folks can bring a share of LCC on their flight to exchange for a can of Coke. This would be a good way to offer a discount off the $2 price of the can.

And the company can thereby have another "successful" buyback of stock, a la Steven Wolf.

Any bets on what happens first?

The Stock Gets De-Listed (Usually after 6 months of sub-$1.00 performance) or Liquidation????

Two years from now, people will be kicking themselves wondering why they didn't buy LCC stock when it was $1.71. It can't go much lower, unless the company liquidates. More than likely, oil prices will fall, airlines will become profitable again and LCC stock will be 10 times what it is worth today. Buy now!!!

I will resurect this thread in a year or two as a reminder for those who did not take my advice.

I think we all hope you're right. Unfortunately the realities of the marketplace coupled with our management's abysmal customer service record and their insistance that "ala carte" will save the airline, don't make that seem too likely.

I personally think it will be amazing is we aren't "ala carted" in BK 3 in the next 6-9months!

However, if the company starts listening to its workers and its customers(the ones who are left) and starts to refocus on customer service and actually trying to get our passengers back, we could stand a chance---short of that--I'm afraid it's not looking very good....

Tempe:--it's no accident that we are still 9th out of 10 in terms of customer complaints--we're treating our passengers like cr^p (and I don't mean the frontline employees)---"ala carte" makes them feel like they are being "nickeled and dimed" to death and were lied to about the true cost of their seat!!

I know you don't think it matters, but we are becoming more despised by the day.....

And you're wrong....it DOES matter...to our bottom line. You all just refuse to accept that we need to treat our "customers" as more than a commodity!! We all know that you figure--if there are fewer seats in the air, we don't have to treat our customers well, they'll have no choice but to fly on US--and pay alot to do so. BUT YOU'RE WRONG! Continuing to treat our customers badly will absolutely destroy this company.....I hope that sinks into the SandCastle and the Sandfleas "get it" before it's too late....

that is classic...how about for $2 you get a share of US AIrways stock AND a can of pop?

My guess is that the oil bubble will burst next year, LCC rebounds, and Parker comes out smelling like a rose with that heart-felt investment in stock.

I wouldn’t be lining the bottom of Mitzi’s birdcage with stock certificates just yet.

Airline stocks will rebound big but who to pick and when is the question.
