What's new

LIFE @ THE PHILLY "PHL" RAMP!

Alot goes on in philly
EX: 1. no belt loaders so we need to boost ourselfs on bags.
2. Lost items day in an out like flip flops.
3. Lots of entertainment at unit 4.
4. Last but not least people waiting for lost luggage.
As you can see in the picture of the person getting a boost on the luggage he is out of uniform. That isnt new at phl .Managers put deadlines for uniforms and they never enforce them. We must of had 4 different deadlines as threats from management but when the deadline comes ,nothings done.

Phlforce,
One question, Why are you guy's starving Dave Lehive to death? The photo's of him posted
on previous threads indicate he has not been eating. The last time I seen Dave in person,
I could see a few ribs but now you can see them all. What area do you have him chained up in?
He is very elusive no handcuff or chain will fit they... slip off.

Always nice to see you contributing your usual valuable insight.

Unlike most FF'ers on here I've had the dubious distinction to vist the B Concourse ramp in PHL. Some observations,

1. It is the only palce dirtier than the aircraft interiors.
2. It physically stinks of a number of rather pungent oders, one of them jet fuel.
3. It is ancient and it shows.
4. It's populated by some very bitter and angry people who do work their asses off. At least when I was there they did. Oddly enough I think they care more than most will ever know
5. It is for all intents and purposes a segregated workforce divided by race, age & seniority.
6. It is a place where you can get injured or killed relatively easily.

It is mentally and physically a dark & dank place in which to earn ones living!!!

But you can always supplement your salary with a good game of Hearts!

Anytime, pal. As an employee to a customer I'll take the usual route - go F- yourself. No one cares. I can see that you've made tremendous progress in all of your complaining and whining on this board. All of those trips to Tempe have paid off, haven't they?

Flame away, I don't care.

Well if I take your advice at least I'll be doing it with someone I love 😛

Let's see where we are a year from now shall we?

Unlike you I'm trying to make a difference, succeeding however is an open question now isn't it?

Unlike you, I'm a short-timer with this miserable flaming wreck. I'm outta here soon...just waiting for the call. You can bet your frequent flightless miles I won't be visiting this board in a year to discuss US Airways.

Dude, you're BEYOND being an R-Tard. Troll somewhere else. The truth about PHL is that it is a POS and will never get better until all of the employees are FIRED and REPLACED with workers who have no ties to gangs, the Mob, and dirty PHL politics. Get over yourself, or better yet, quit and work for someone else.

and, of course, living in PHL is right up there with sticking needles in ones eyeballs.

Dude, you're BEYOND being an R-Tard.

Hmm..at least your antagonist apparently speaks at least semi-coherent english

Addendum: Not my business..but: what's the intention via the "Timmah" avatar?

The employees are rarely a problem. Most any one of us could make a dent in the PHL problem. A group of us could really roll. Instead, Tempe sends 17 "suits" to fix specific and nonexistent problems rather than get the lay of the land.

<Sigh>

I think Tempe is still trying to thrash their way out of wet paper bags or trying to figure out why they keep screwing up wet dreams. It does not bode well for USAirways future.

BTW, if there is a breakup, could we ensure Parker and his masturbatory sycophants go with the "other" group?

Yea, I'll just let your icon speak for itself.

I never said PHL wasn't a POS. I hate PHL. If I have the choice between connecting in PHL or CLT, I choose AAL and connect through DFW. If PHL fell into the river, US Airways would lose a hub yet everyone would win.

Doesn't take long to fill the weak possessed with false bravado with an incurable urge to run like hell from a place where only the strong survive.

Nothing special about the avatar. I just like South Park and I find Timmy's character to be amusing.
