Is www.airlinepilotpay.com correct with the pay rates at US Airways?
Top out at $55/hour? Don't flight attendants make more than that? And 1 week vacation for the first 7 years? Criminal
Doesn't anyone see a problem here?

This year TOS is year 9 of a 12 year scale - $55.34/hr. TOS moves one more year up the scale for each year that passes, becoming $61.11 in 2014. Either way, though, I doubt there are any E190 FO's at TOS but I'd have to check to be sure.

...And for all you non-aviator types reading this forum, you probably don't realize why guys are whining about 50 or 60 bucks an hour.
The short answer is: take that nmber and divide it in half - that's how you can compare that wage to the real world hourly worker.
Much of the time, pilots only get paid when the aircraft is in motion, so when you see them walking in the terminal to get to their next flight, or doing a preflight inspection, or sitting in the cockpit waiting for the passengers to sit down, they are not getting paid. The upshot is that it takes 160-170 hours of on duty (not at the hotel on an overnight) time to realize 80-85 hours of flight pay. (and since the FAA only permits pilots to fly 1000 hrs a year...1000/12=85/month - roughly)
So, the F/O's in the 190's, who are highly skilled professionals with great amounts of experience, are not being compensated well.
One of our returned furloughed guys worked as a janitor while he was out and made more money doing that job.

there are a handful of BOS guys who bid FO on the 190 for sleeping in their own beds every night... They are very much at TOS.

95% of the CAPT's are as well

I figured that almost all the captains are at TOS but that wasn't the question asked. But thanks for the correction on the F/O's. I just assumed that the F/O's were almost entirely post-99/00 hires or transfers in the case of the CEL pilots.

While I don't think anyone is whining here, please also realize that many of the business travelers you see are also not paid for the time they spend in transit to/from their jobs/clients. We all make our choices in professions that involve travel (whether we're driving the bus or being a passenger), and certainly nobody forced us into those careers.

Regardless of when the clock starts and stops the bottom line is that pilots are making anywhere from $30k/year to fly passengers. If that isn't love of the job i don't know what is.....

And yet, pilots are still enrolling in the Embry Riddles of the world, taking on huge debt that will take years to pay off and being fully informed about the job conditions, pay and the long rise up the seniority ladder. Why should an airline increase that pay when there are far more available pilots willing to work than there are positions??

Hyperbole much?
Nothing about a Job is criminal unless they hold a gun to your head and make you take the job and won't let you quit.

On a related e-190 Note:

Embraer E-190 Jets Need Checks for Metal Cracks, Brazil Regulator Says

E-190 jets, flown by carriers including US Airways Group Inc. (LCC), need more frequent inspections after tests turned up cracks that may indicate a structural flaw, Brazil’s aviation authority said.

Cracks were found after metal-fatigue checks in unspecified “structural components” that could compromise the plane’s integrity, the regulator, known as Anac, said in an airworthiness directive on its website. It set a 90-day deadline starting June 16 to comply with the new procedures.

I didn't see where it specifically asked about FO/s

I think that is why so many EAST can't stand your posts.

The short version is:

If you can see an airline pilot, that pilot is not, almost without exception, "on the clock."
