I am still extremely wary of any intervention, but it is the neocons that have been claiming that not intervening was a sign of weakness, destabilizing, and that Obama would retreat from any red lines drawn.

If we end up arming the wrong people, again, which I suspect will turn out to be the case, then I will be every bit as critical of O as I am of Bush and his puppet-masters.

Meantime, it is the original alternative to O, McCain, who is cheerleading this and would have,maccording to his statements, had the US more involved and sooner, not only in Syria, but Egypt and Lybia also.
