Thank you! I realize I come off as brash at times, but these sissy dogs need to be brought back into reality. Most of 'em are scoundrels.

-Most pilots do not realize that they are their own worse enemy. Kinda nice seeing the self serving ones eat each other.

Go ALPA!

Call W. He will help you.

PitGuy,

What I find amasing that you say one thing and then say the opposite in the next line.

Still you did not offer any proof that a single pilot did your job.

How many of the 6000+ pilots in "92" did you know? Since you seem to know "most pilots"

Talk about looking down the nose. "scabs" "scoundrels" " sissy dogs" " self serving" Dude you reek of it yourself.

Glad to hear you are out of this place.

A union that makes a secret deal with a company do cross a sanctioned picket line is a traitor to the labor movement.

ALPA made a deal that EVERY pilot got paid their block no matter if they flew or not as long as ALPA did not honor the picket line.

And there were plenty of pilots who cleaned aircraft cabins during the 30 day cooling off period and during the strike. I witnessed such pilots cleaning a/c during the 30 day cooling off period.

Those pilots that took that action are scabs.

700UW,

Talks cheep

Why don't you back up your words. If you were on strike. Were you also a scab to be able to "witnessed" the pilots cleaning the airplanes. Please enlighten all of us how this was "witnessed".

700UW,

Have you seen lavman lately?

I guess you need to learn how to comprehend what you read.

I witnessed such pilots cleaning a/c during the 30 day cooling off period.

See during a 30 day cooling off period you are still at work, not on strike.

Try again.

Lavman,

So the fact don't get in the way.

So you did not "witnessed" this during the strike.

Enlighten us.

Did the pilots have a restriction in their contract that prevented them with also striking?

Wow, every pilot got their full pay? Sounds like their Union did a great job of looking out for their members. What a life to stay home and recieve a full paycheck. Worth every nickle of dues. Wonder if the IAM could have been smart enough to get this?

BottomFeeder,
The pilot group was paid to cross the mechanic's picket line. They were paid even if they did not fly. This is common knowledge and it is also common knowledge that some did mechanic and related work. That is fact and I will not take any time to try to prove it to you. Instead why don't you prove to the world how a pilot's job which has been over rated for years and over paid is now worth what they are getting paid? You have some pilots making anywhere from in the teens to sixty some thousand dollars a year and then you have some still making over two hundred thousand dollars a year. The skill set is over rated and no pilot should make over one hundred thousand dollars a year. They are paid for their ability, skill level and how much the market will bear. They are not to be paid for their ego. The reality of it is that it is floundering profession. Welcome to Wal-Mart air. If you don't fly the jet your scab buddy will.

---And by the way. How is that great ALPA working out for you now?

(I do feel bad for what has happened to the flight attendants, mechanics, etc...and wish them the best. I just have a hard time feeling bad for some pilots after what they have done and said about others.)

Do you not think we had agents, rampers or flight attendants that were married to mechanic and related or dating or just friends, think again, the acts were witnessed by many people that still had to work.

And the company had the right NOT to pay any pilot that did not fly a trip due to the strike, but they cut a secret deal with ALPA to be traitors to the labor movement.

It is true about the deal and well known. The pilots make me sick and I am glad and I smile as their lives go into shambles.

(You could say I am a lil bitter.)

I agree 1000 percent!

They got what they deserved, the red carpeted royal red flaming hot shaft shoved up their golden butts. They sanctioned what has come around to haunt them with their selfish greed and arrogant attitudes. I have more respect for Dave Sigel and his kind because at least one expects such behavior coming from individuals who were born raised and nurtured into becoming the worlds elites, while the pilots played sing along with Mitch until times got bad and pulled mutiny on their fellow brothers and sisters so they could continue their golden lifestyles of working half what everyone else does making ten times more. I wish the pilots all they have coming, you reap what you sow, you low life lizards.

Love Curt--- Ex U mechanic never to return to aviation and its sorrows.

thats it in a nutshell calibrator......they made their bed with the company for many years and never were smart enough to see beyond their ego's that they were in fact being used.
how soon in BK did they see the true value of their longterm friendship with corporate managemnet.
the may have sucked, smoked and swooshed with ed and seth and rakessh but when the new kids on the block arrived they threw them away like a used condom.

The pilots were paid the same as any other group that showed up for their job. Remember the IAM was on strike not any other union.

Strike one

Three and your out!
