I would have chosen "Baileys" had it been a choice, but since it wasn't, I went with Mini Moos. None of that powdered cow for me.

I'm wondering if the powers that be at US have considered getting rid of coffee altogether. How much could they save? Surely somebody has crunched the numbers? 😀

Please. Don't give them any ideas. Last year, they had an online survey on the employee website asking if they should have *NO* hot beverages after 10am, guess we shot that down.... You never know what they are looking at.....

Uh, yah, I can't imagine sitting on my jumpseat for HOURS with my mags and not having a steaming hot cup of coffee in my hand! The only problem is that sometimes the FC paxs in 1D/F see me and request a coffee for themselves. Then, they want the snack basket....on and on....gimme gimme gimme... I have to put my shoes back on and walk out into the cabin for the second time in 5 hours... By the time I get back to the jumpseat, my coffee is cold and I've lost the page I was reading in my magazine. So annoying. :rant:

I don't know why, but it really bugs me when someone absolutely insists on opening the single carton we have and pouring just a tiny drop into their cup. Then we have to throw the whole carton away. They couldn't use a bit of mini-moo? Oh no..."But don't you have ANY 2% at all"?

But of course you work on your lines first before reading the magazine...Those FC pax are so needy...always about them...one secret is to dump a couple bags of potato chips into a styrofoam cup and eat out of the cup instead of the bag--that way, the pax sometimes think it's your own food and they won't get up and ask for the snack basket...or, this is a good one, when they ask you for a snack, you look at them really disgusted, exhale loudly, and say, uh, i'm planning to come around with it shortly and then close your magazine and stand up...that usually makes them feel crappy and sulk back to their seat.

OOOOOH Thanks for the tips! I always try to ignore FC politely, but sometimes it's easier said than done! Sometimes, you have to put your foot down.
