More special liveries

According to the AboutUS for 6/9, US will paint an A319 in Philadelphia Eagle colors. It is just in the design stages at the moment. Interesting decision by US since I believe the Cardinals and Diamondbacks planes are going away-Can someone correct me if I'm wrong about this?

If it's anything like the PSA, Piedmont, and Allegheny planes, US won't just paint an Eagles plane--they'll paint it twice.

well i think it speaks volumes that this management team is even attempting to paint these a/c. i have heard that a steelers plane and a panthers plane is in the works as well.

The 319 is a ugly duck no matter how it is painted. The 737-400 or by far the 757-200 should have the special paint job.

I agree with you 100% The 757 or even the 737-400 would look much more impressive in Heritage Logos. After all, didn't AmericaWest use their 757's on their themed A/C.

well 700 , there is a new sherrif in town and he will listen to you. as for the rest of you, stop bi#chin and whining as to what type of a/c should be painted in a special livery. you all should be happy that they are even doing this at all. this is not typical usairways mentality. i guess we are not the typical usairways anymore in some aspects . thank god.
