N838AW (A-319) was all spiffed up and ready to go to LAS tonight for its first revenue flight. Appears that it left on-time. From LAS to DCA getting there in the morning. Interior mx was called for dried up bubble gum on a seat cushion. Must have been some Frenchie. Dumb ol' Frenchies.

Looked good but I'm sure the Easties will find something to complain about.

actually it left in the AM on Saturday...not sure where it went but I was at gate A29 and it pushed bakc 2 gates over...I wasn't really impressed-thought it looked weird.

Many "Easties" have earned the right to complain about a lot of things as a result of years of injustice and mistreatment. This "Eastie" will complain about your needless wisecrack. Not exactly fostering cooperative spirit, is it Barbee? The near-fatal US/PI/PS schism still runs deep at East. We'd all do well to avoid having a four-way, and comments like yours won't help.

I guess the Westies havent earned it yet(by being the lowest paid most worked group in the industry for years). IMOP I think all Easties need a big hug and be told it will be all right if you dont get everything you think you deserve which is SH%% and you you continue to be selfish and not share you will be sent to your room.(Get the picture I am trying to paint abouty how all you guys and gals sound)

Nope...I do not have the position to bring down the airline. Only Doogie, management and the board have that ability. I have 19+ years invested in this dog and I sure do not want it to fail; however, I have very little faith in Doogie at this point. I see the SAME mistakes being made as in mergers past, thats all. I have never understood memeberships in "personality cults", be it Doogie or E.I. Colodny. I expect results from Doogie and the board. I see the same old tired mistakes. I guess when you reach the upper levels in an organization, you become too arrogant to read history, so that you do not repeat the past.

East has been through a lot. Yes, your life at West hasn't been perfect. But after Doogie's money runs out, and after you've been through round after round of layoff, pay cut, displacement, base closure, outsourcing, outright LYING from the top, and various yet to be discovered atrocities, come talk to me. In the meantime, you're going to have to cut East a break if some have the collective need to b1tch and moan - we've been drinking a much more bitter flavor of Kool Aid for years.

Just 'cause we gripe on this Web site, doesn't make us losers and it doesn't make us care any less about being successful.

This is depressing. I've been here for several years and you guys eat yourselves like canibals, and then stand around depressed wondering what happened. FA vs Pilots, everyone vs CEO and admin, employees vs FFs, jesus , haven't you guys learned anything yet? You've been given a second lease on life. It may not be what life was, 10 years ago, but circumstances gave you a second lease on life unlike FLY-I. Can't you join together and make this work?
