What's new

New AA Union Drive

I didn't vote for him, and another thing, I don't remember the ballot saying he was from the FS group next to his name ( such as his affiliated party ). I believe that most people did not know that info, or maybe the TWU didn't want us to know. I suppose having a Chairman of Maintenance without an A&P is also good?. Or maybe the people in TUL just don't care anymore, because the Int. is going to do what they want, when they want, without the local presidents approval. Good day!

crybaby........waaaaaaaaa

I will not let this go with just dissing you for being putz. "Who the hell are you to dictate who the A&P represented majority at Local 514 choose to be their President?"
600 some odd votes is not a majority but you know that dont you. I work in tulsa so I can say what I want

Thanks

So you are a newbe here and have probably signed an AMP card and you don't even have a clue of who your current President is or what qualified him to be the best candidate. You most likely are one who hasn't scanned his badge for a membership meeting in many moons. Well friend, If you want the AMP you better revisit your seniority date because you won't be working at 3600 North Mingo if they get their wish....

Is that all the TWU has is scare tactics so pathetic. All I want is a transparent democratic union is that to much to ask. I have 1997 sen. does that mean im on the street if AMP gets voted in

Why are you so offensive? Why are you threatening members on this board? I support Bob Owens and he is TWU. I really think you want attention.
Thanks

My trade goes farther back than that for the Aircraft Mechanic my skill is more in line with what Charlie Taylor did for the Wright Brothers. He like I was a machinist. We make the parts that create Airplanes as well as the wrenches you hold in your hand....

Why are you so scared then, care to debate the numbers I posted earlier

I think he's a disgruntled FSC that only thinks of himself. He would be perfect Int. material. talking to you, LO Speed Aluminum!

well there was five or six people running only about half of the membership voted so it took 600 some votes to win a local with 6000 some odd members. sad I know

I been in the machine shops. It's not like it use to be back in 1930. It must really take alot of effort to program a machine and watch it spit out 30- 40 parts while reading the entire Tulsa World.

You have got to be kidding me! Do you mean Chuck Talylor the aircraft mechanic, or did you mean you have an old pair of Converse? I may not be as old or experienced as you say you are, but I have been around the block , F4s in the Marines, 727-777. I am smart enough to see what is happening to our proffession and I DO have the balls to do something about it. We need a union that will fight for our best interests. Sorry you don't agree or care about the mechanics before you, who have fought for what we use to have.
Thanks
