No more robot door on 767?

Watch your head. That 767 handle will knock you out!
Okay, does it fly up when you lift the lever, and more importantly if you're a little person, are you going to be able to push it all the way up to get the door all the way open because it looks like a long lever and it's kind of high?

When I was working International Trash many moons ago, I was at the L2 door (from the outside, using a lift truck) and when I popped the handle it flew open and cut me underneath the eye and had to get several stitches.

The 767 MED (main entry door) has had its share of victims. When the door is opened from the outside the interior handle moves up fast. Also when closing the door from the inside the handle moves.

After the door is cracked open it can be operated electrically. A button on a panel.

So, the agent could crack the door and the FA would push the panel button after it's safely cracked?

The only 76 door I’ve operated was the simulator inside of a freight trailer in PIT, and the way it was mounted it could not be operated from the jetway side.

As for weight of the door, aren’t there controls to power it outside the aircraft?

Yes, there is a toggle switch on the outside.
