A topic about Fleet Service getting water is now all about the flight crew.
Do 30 minutes in a 100 degree plus cargo bin and maybe you can find a way back on topic.
Thanks for the thanks and thanks right back atcha. B) I always appreciate being offered water but we've been told that accepting anything from the flight crew is tantamount to theft. Plus I already have my own jug of ice water rampside. No, this really is OT (I promise 😀 ) I've been hearing people say that the water on board is "for passengers only".
I believe the water is for Human Use! I will not deny anyone some water if they ask for it. I see the bag guys coming and going up and down the stairs all day (along with all the other things they do tirelessly) making sure the Winnebagos and strollers get checked. They usually come up to an un-air conditioned jetbridge, but they are grateful its at least 10 degrees cooler. I always offer water, most say no. But if they ask, I would never deny.
I don't envy anyone working under wing, anytime. Hats off to you and thanks! 😀
