It's obvious that not everyone will be happy so let's come up with something new and innovative. How about good looking people get on first .........

Then I would NEVER get on!! I would prefer the boarding be based on date of hire. But this might be one call that will be made by the CEO, and not by unions or arbitrators. So just in case it does go by first come basis...perhaps an exception could be made for commuting employees. Just as date of hire would hurt most of the AWA employees, first come could really hurt someone trying to connect, after coming off a trip, to get home. I am usually against giving any leeway on a date of hire issue..but again, we should look for some middle ground here...the decision might be made for us. A LOT of U employees commute (and not always by choice) and I can only guess a lot fewer PHX employees commute. Good luck to us all. Greeter.

I am sorry you feel that way you must be junior. DOH is the only fair way other wise you will have agents screwing around with the list. DOH is plain and simple it is the only way to FLY.

No, not at all....26 years but...I do remember what it's like to be junior and have some schmuck with his wife and 5 kids come to the gate 30 minutes before departure, and get on before me.



Can you all at least give us the understanding, that I really dont think is too much to ask?

I would say that too if I only had 5 yrs. This is where you will be schooled in the airline non rev system. Senority is everything, It will help you decide weather you are going on your trip or not, you will learn to like as time go by. Senority ...Priceless

I dunno if original US folks realize this, but HP folks will be loosing out to you in senority when senority lists are combine, so we will already be on the short end of the stick there. This affects our vacation, bidding, etc. Why on earth would you believe that we're gonna give up the ONLY thing that we can possibly keep, which is our boarding meathod? I can completely accept the senority list intergrations, they have to be done, and will be a give and take on both sides, but when original US brings such a large percentage of their workforce that is 20+senior, and HP has only a fraction of that, there is no way any of us can support seniority boarding. If you were in our shoes, you would feel the same way. I just hope that, even if the arguement doesnt change your mind, that you at least UNDERSTAND why original HP feels this way, and just consider it a valid argument. If I had 20+yrs under my belt, I very well could support seniority boarding, but I dont, and neither does the vast majority of original HP.

And one last thing I was checking the previous post and my orignal was a reply to another person not you so why dont you check your O2 I think the shock of you flying with 6 year captains at HP(once the list is merged) is making you silly

It was a generalization but as for getting bumped back to f/o I dont think that will happen(opps Senority). Also I like how you have your B**ch answer your post and yes that was for you. What are you a 20 year fo on reserve? arent you is that why you sound bitter. This merger should never had happened we should have let you guys be and finish your slow death.
