It's obvious that not everyone will be happy so let's come up with something new and innovative. How about good looking people get on first .........
Then I would NEVER get on!! I would prefer the boarding be based on date of hire. But this might be one call that will be made by the CEO, and not by unions or arbitrators. So just in case it does go by first come basis...perhaps an exception could be made for commuting employees. Just as date of hire would hurt most of the AWA employees, first come could really hurt someone trying to connect, after coming off a trip, to get home. I am usually against giving any leeway on a date of hire issue..but again, we should look for some middle ground here...the decision might be made for us. A LOT of U employees commute (and not always by choice) and I can only guess a lot fewer PHX employees commute. Good luck to us all. Greeter.
