Yes it's just an opinion. My opinion is based on certain facts regarding Al Qaeda. We all saw on 9-11 what they are capable of. We also know that they have experimented with chemical weapons in the past.

Fortunately delivery of chemical weapons to produce mass casualties is not that easy for a group like Al Qaeda. Unfortunately it was easy to hijack commercial airliners and fly them into office buildings.

We have also seen how they treat fellow Muslims who they feel are unworthy. Just as we have seen some of the tactics they have used in Iraq. Like getting either emotionally disturbed or mentally handicapped people to carry out suicide bombings. Then you have to take into account they are not a nation state so you do not have the sort of things that restrain nation states in place. Its facts like these that make me think that if given the chance they would not hesitate to kill a bunch of infidels with a nuclear weapon.

I did not mean it as an insult, just that it is one persons perception. I still think it is a large leap between the actions they took on 9/11 and what they do to their own people to the jump of using chem/nukes.

Consider they take into account of wind drift,humidity and so on......they very well could disperse chemical and or biological weapons without too much trouble.Like I said.....weather has a lot to do with pinpointing an attack as they do not have an overwhelming method of delivery......like artillery or mass rocket attacks. But they could mount a crude but effective attempt.

Knew a dude who bought several old fuel tanks and had visions of burying them after steam purging them of course.....he had all the info on the survival gig......I tell you,he knew his stuff. I remember the earthquake drills in California as a kid.
