Outsourcing Commences

There has been no transformation plan give to the union from the company.

The IAM put out bulletins during the whole process and the final offer was in people's hands on Saturday the 1/8/05 and the latest was Monday 1/10/05, it was given to the NC at 9:15PM on 1/6/05 so dont say the final offer for the M&R were not in the membership's hands.

Prove it...you always tell everyone to prove it ...well prove the union ever made that offer. What was it? Thought so no proof.

Yes I remember some bulletin about some phantom union offer that the company was gonna sign. Never happened and no one ever saw that phantom offer of the union. TotallY fabricated and no proof.

Your post is TOTALLY fabricated.

Every GC and representative had the offer with them at EVERY single ratification meeting and vote.

Every Negotiating Committee member has the offer, it was made available to every member to view at the meetings if the membership chose to see it.

If anyone wants to see it they can contact their Grievance Committee or General Chairperson or Negotiating Committee member.

Why do you insist in posting outright falsehoods?

Now why don't you back up your claim that it is fabricated and no proof?

See you can't because the offer exsists it was given to the company and the IAM still has it.

And if it was not the truth the IAM could be sued.

But since all you can do is throw out false information and insult people instead of taking the time to actually realize what transpired and the offer does exsist, just shows you nothing more then a pot stirrer and you question 320s information and you do the same as he.

It left me scratching my head, too. For instance CHS is one of the cities the company and IAM-Fleet agreed could be outsourced.

And yet, U appears to be the company doing the hiring, according to the website, for fleet positions in CHS.

I'm guessing, at the end of the day, an affiliate like PSA will will do the ground handling in CHS. U will do all of the grunt work (hiring, training,background checks), and turn the employees over to PSA.

Actually the company is still trying to fill open positions, I suspect that they want a trained work force when the outsourcing begins. There have been outsource companies looking at U facilities already and made statements that jobs would be offered to current staff before going to the street. Some of these stations have as many as 20 openings to fill and a timeline of about june 1 for change over.

Prove it does not exsist!

Like I said, go ask your General Chairman, Grievance Committee or Negotiating Committee and they will gladly you show it.

Go ask the members that read it at the ratification votes.

Go ask the company if an offer was recieved from the IAM on 1/5/05.

If you say it does not exsist then prove it, I read it as well as numerous others.

If you want to see it go seek out your reps that have it.
