Outsourcing Commences

You don't know anything.

It was given to the company on 1/5/05, numerous members around the system saw it and read it, shame on those that did not.

Like I said, if you want to see it and read it, contract your General Chairman, Grievance Committee Member or a member of the Negotiating Committee.

But I guess it is easier for you to post falsehoods then actually get out from behind your computer and its monitor then to actually get off your duff and contact a representative and go read it.

Your true colors are showing once again.

Funny no one here has seen it or reported on it's contents. We know why. That proof enough.

My opinion is that you are a troll...
By the way I saw it. If I'm wrong on the above I apologise but follow what 700 has told you.

Sure you do.

Go contact a representative to go read it.

Comprehension problem?

USVN:

Haven't you learned yet that lavman is all
smoke and mirrors? He has nothing to back
up his statements, ie. a copy of the contract
proposal. IF one exists, then it would be
beneficial for the IAM to make it public
because it would support their contention
that the company did not want to reach an
agreement.

Maybe the proposal was weak and the IAM
does not want to lose face over a lame
proposal. That would be the only reason
they wouldn't make it public.

Anywho, it does no good to try and prod
lavman into posting the contract. I'll see
if I can get a copy of it and post it here.
I'm sure someone has a copy or at least
can provide the specific points that
lavman believes were too good for the
company to pass up.

You wont get a copy, only the General Chairman, Grievance Committee Chairman at certain stations and all the members of the M&R negotiating committee have a copy.

And it was not a "lame" proposal, the negotiating committee worked very hard on it with the help of the legal and financial experts. But I would not expect you to know that since you WERE NOT there.

And two other posters on this very topic have seen it.

And Yes I have a copy, but I guess Spin is not smart enough to figure out where I was for the past several months.

And do you think I care if you call me lavman?

Let me tell you something, I don't care. Do you think it makes you a tough guy by calling me an old name I use to use on the boards?

Let me let you in on a secret, it doesn't.

Here's what those of us (other than you and the other two people who posted on this topic) are having a hard time with:

If it was such a great proposal, what is stopping you from posting the relevant parts here? What do you have to hide?

Bingo and if it was so good, as they said it was, that company couldn't turn it down.

wasn't that..company was adamant about utes getting the 73 skiddoo...
union couldn't sign off on that....
theres your underlying reason....

The company can do what ever they want.

See they wanted what they wanted and how they wanted and no matter what the Negotiating Committee offered the company they refused.

But I would not expect you to understand that since none of you can get off your duff and contact a General Chairman, Grievance Committeemen or a member of the Negotiating Committee to actually see the proposal, it is easier for you to throw stones from behind a monitor and a keyboard.

And the IAM does not negotiate in the press or on the internet, that is why the proposal as was not posted on the DL 142 web page, it was at EVERY SINGLE ratification vote where numerous members viewed and EVERY member had the opportunity to read it.

So keep throwing barbs out instead of actually going out to seek the information.

Funny I remember you and union posting info about the proposals and such on here and in releases. Like how about all the info on saving the company money by different means? Stop hiding behind keyboard telling things you can't backup

Are you just ignorant?

The proposal was given to the company on 1/05/05 and you can contact any US Airways General Chairman, any 142 GC who conducted a ratification vote, any member of the Negotiating Committee or some local lodge presidents and view the proposal.

The District President is the one who made the decision not to post it on the internet, the proposal was AT EVERY SINGLE RATIFICATION VOTE, but I guess since you now claim you might not even work at US is why you never saw it.

Like I said, get off your gludius maximus and contact anyone listed above to see it.

There are two other posters on this thread who read it at the ratification vote, and yet you cant produce one person who asked for it and never saw it.

You are nothing more then a crap stirrer, I put the challenge out to you to go find the proposal from any of the IAM reps who have it, then maybe you will finally understand.
