it is destroying your credibility when there really is a major issue.
How would YOU know the difference? If you think you know better, why don't you submit a whistle blower complaint to the FAA?
I wasn't born yesterday and is it exceptionally clear that what you are doing is a job action.
Well let's see. Pilot staffing levels were several levels beyond critical for the past few months. The FA's medical benefits are changing in a few weeks, so their sick levels are much higher due to everyone getting elective surgeries and procedures done. 11,000 WARN letters were just doled out to the TWU members. Yet, with all of this in mind, all of the cancellations and problems were totally caused by those dastardly pilots doing some sort of chicanery.
So to answer your question - YES, it does appear that you were born yesterday. Any objective person looking at the confluence of crap hitting the fan at AA could come to a more obvious conclusion.
Face it, the pilots are gonna take their medicine just like we all have.
I hate to break it to you, but we are going to get a much better deal while you sit and suck on your LBFO for the next 10 years.
It is not bitterness on my part but extreme arrogance coming from the people who think they are above the realities that have happened at every major airline.
That was a "reality" set by people who slit their own throats and voted yes. We voted no. New reality.
The best outcome I see is that the furniture gets rearranged in your contract but the dollar amount will stay in the same ballpark.
You opinion and $2 will get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks. I will be more than happy to come back after we get a better deal and CONSTANTLY remind you of that.
I am extremely happy with my yes vote because for my particular work group, we keep our duty rigs, got a small signing bonus and get an increase in pay and expense money until USAir and AA merge.
You voted yes to a horrible contract. Not only were the terms horrible, but most of it wan't even in enforceable language. You are going to be AA's beotch for the next 10 years. Good luck with that USAirways merger, if it ever even does come to fruition.
The pilots on the other hand will start standing by for that first class seat on the 777 for your breaks and will lose all your current duty rigs in one month. You will get that all back after the merge but after that your credibility will take much more time to be regained.
All more wishful thinking from a flag-waving pilot hater. Sorry, but we're going to get a better deal. Live with it.
