Possible NMB Rulings

Wed will mark 9 weeks.  Pretty sure it will go the 10 weeks.  Something is up. There seems to be problems.  Most all SCS filings are ruled on by the NMB within 4-6 weeks max.  Something is up, or the industrial unions are working yet another back door deal...
Well I guess I need to make sure the lid is on my love lube and locked up with the IAM and TWU working back door deals, I know who will be getting rear ended.

YOU BOYS NEED TO PUT YOUR AMFA CARDS IN NOW!
I thought the NMB asked for more information this week?  Doesn't appear that a determination will happen soon.  Hopefully, something can be determined at or before January 1 though.

What do you mean you thought the NMB asked for more info?  How do you know this, and if true, what is the NMB asking for??  Thx in advance...

It's posted on the AA board it has to do with some classifications at PMUS are unionized while the same positions at PMAA are non-union.

The NMB is delaying its ruling, they are trying to determine class and craft for us.

"YES" there are different work groups at each carrier that are different, Why can't we be the ones who choose?

The IAM/TWU have made some of these choices for us over many yrs isn't it our time to say we want complete say in where our class and craft is going?

At USAirways you have seen & read the fighting between the easties and the westies. In other words the US and AW Pilots. Now the AA Pilots are involved. They got together and are possibly going to figure it out.

The Flight Attendants did the same thing. Both of your unions went to the AA union. They were unions that AA employees put together. We the Mechanics need to do the SAME we need to pick one union and have control of that Union.

The only union that we can have a full say is AMFA.

Many of you work at stations where SWA mechanics are, so one day at Lunch or during break time go talk to them ask them, what they think of how things are operated under AMFA.

If this Association gets into power we all will suffer under another poor contract are you willing to do that. When you went into negotiations did you put in proposals and just How Many of those were actually brought to the table? What was the excuse the Lodge Leaders brought back when you asked?

We at AA have the same problem with the TWU, It's time for these two unions to be shown the Door. They have taken our DUES and what have they done.

How much of an increase did you get towards your IAMNPF? How did it compare to what the Fleet guys got?

Dues are determined by the Lodge and can be different at different stations isn't that correct? Well with the TWU and AMFA its a set value, 2X your rate of Pay.

merging our two work groups can be easier if we have just ONE Union.

Do you want the TWU?

Do you think the AA guys are going to want the IAM?

Lets work together and bring a NEW UNION in For Us ALL.

get an AMFA card from an organizer at your station or ask where you can get one and sign it.

It's been 53 years for AA mechanics to try and organize for AMFA....At least the odds have to be turning in your favor at this point. That has to be positive.

The only positive out of all this will be if the boys and girls at AA and US can rid themselves of the industrial BS unions (TWU and IAM) and bring in AMFA for a whole new beginning.  And BTW; screw this BS alliance trying to be forced down their necks...

I guess that fits because AMFA is also at a whole new beginning considering they have about 10% of the total Membership they used to have.

Then WHY is all the industrial unions scared to death of AMFA coming into the airlines?  Huh?  Answer that chief.  WHY are the company minions working with the industrial unions to keep and block AMFA from coming in?  WHY does the TWU and the IAM continuously lie to their members and misinform them in order to cause confusion and displacement in order to force an alliance upon the membership or be non-union.  Completely PATHETIC to scare the membership into keeping the worthless TWU and IAM at the new AA...

As opposed to the IAM who carries a worse record in aircraft mechanic representation???

Oh but you're fine allying with them, and promoting doing so WITHOUT a vote of the membership.  Its okay to place others under the IAM representation you fear, without their consent,  just so long as you can stay where you are.

Again, your flagrant hypocrisy is duly noted.

Scared? Company minions working with industrial unions to keep and block AMFA from coming in? Isn't that AMFA movement a "Grassroots" movement that is already in. AMFA only has about 2000 Members worldwide (another 500 if you count the Airtran guys), that's hardly a bastion of power. If AMFA was the preferred choice they'd be at AA already since we've all been talking about and collecting cards for the last decade. As a matter of fact, AMFA was started by disgruntled AMERICAN AIRLINES MECHANICS in 1961...They've represented Members in Ozark, Northwest, United, Mesaba and others....today it's Southwest and Alaska, while holding onto a mere 10% of the total membership they'd had in the 90's and 2000's.

Fear? There is not fear, I'd just rather stay with what I know and with the Association there is a better chance of that happening. For our Brothers and Sisters at the IAM it also beneficial to them as they don't have to fear losing their multi-employer medical and pension. That is something that would surely cause a division if they're forced into the TWU or we're forced into the IAM.
