I Do not know why any Level thinking AMT would want to Wait until 2009 for an END to an (IAM) Contract. When in REALITY it would take,UNTIL 2012,before we could Possibly ever have a contract, knowing that it will take an average three year's for the RENEGOTIATED contract to Be approved.

Do you not understand that even if you go ibt you will not get a new CBA, you will administer the IAM CBA with a transition agreement?

And as of now the NMB has not determined if a vote will even take place.

You will not work under the IAM CBA. It will be the current CBA until the new contract is signed with the IBT.

Retirement is subject to negotiations.

Just answer the question Today if I retired with 20+yr HOW MUCH COULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE EACH MONTH $10 $100 $1000.

If you can't answer it call DELL he is retired and get the answer.

Current mechanics and retirees at US/East had their pension terminated and benefits reduced.

The US/West never were under that company paid pension plan.

The current plan is a base contribution which various depending on your earnings.

So there is no answer to the question as it is on a case by case basis.

And the IAM is trying to get US to get the M&R into the IAMNPF.

You at west dont have a pension at all, just a 401k.

and what part of don't want nothing to do with the IAM or thier pension don't you understand??

I think I would fall out of my chair if you ever answer a question, without twistting things around.

Why do you even talk about the IAMPF it couldn't of been that good if you gave it away like ever thing else you have. If we let the IAM stay in power what else would you give up for us ???

mick....your very own contract has not yet been ratified and could go on for some time.

i bet you if IBT were to win a runoff.....soon there would be settlement with the 104 contract and i bet it wouldn't have east side heavy work....thus guaranteeing that east work would be gone when the IAM contract expires in 2009.

Dougie wants to end east type heavy and its already been written.

this stuff where he says hes willing to open up present contracts to whomever the surviving unions are....its blowing smoke.....at what price??

everyone going to get that nice fat raise and all those bennies that no one in the airline industry can afford anymore??
wake up and smell the roses....

at what price??

The M&R at US never had the IAMNPF, we had a company paid pension that was terminated and turned over to the PBGC.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

And it is too hard to understand the amount has to be negoitated between the IAM, US and IAMNPF?

I have told you that several times all ready.

More of your twisted lies?

Here you go again posting misinformation about things you have no idea about.
I suggest you educate yourself instead of posting totally inaccurate statements.
The IAMNPF is not controlled by the IAM nor does the IAM have access to the funds. It is controlled by IAM and Management Trustees and a Fund Director, it is a totally separate entity.
Only dues money is used for representation. Then union does not represent them in a criminal case.

I think he meant counting the cards turned in to force a runoff, even I could figure that out 7

and if retirement is subject to negotiations, as you said, then that won't be until the iam cba is out in '09 then add at least 3 years, and guess what, we still don't have apension for 6 plus years..
do us all a favor and educate and don't let the facts get in your way

I am still waiting on the answer from the iam update for the election and you said there is no election, sounds like a John Kerry fli-flop. got caught lying or passing a lie and don't know how to make people belive you

Has the NMB declared an election?
NO!

Has the NMB mailed out ballots?
NO!

No election then.

Is that too hard for you to comprehend?
