If you have more than 8 years seniority, you are correct. Sorry, but it lowers the labor cost.

If that is true...thats a rotten way to drive costs. Maybe a focus on valuing employees as an asset and making them more productive is in order. It seems to work for Southwest Airlines.

Bingo. That was said loud and clear at the meeting in CLT. I just don't think D.P. heard it.

Maybe next meeting someone can ask....

"Mr. Parker, I am sure that from the last two meetings you know that there is a serious problem with company morale. What program have you implimented to tackle this problem?"

His response will be that of "Cough, Cough, excuse me, Cough Cough, if it wasn't for the employees taking the pay cut then US Air would not be around today, and the 900 deal wasn't a Take it or Leave It Offer, We gave you a choice....Take it or we will look at placing the aircraft elsewhere, That wasn't a Take It Or Leave It Offer. Sorry you feel that way."

If it was a done deal then why was PSA's MEC meeting with management to discuss an acceptable proposal after the "NO" vote.

Just shows how either management doesn't know what they are talking about or they are lying.

Well what if the company gives the MEC the same deal? How will y'all vote this time? Doug said they could be deployed cheaper elsewhere! Gosh thats just what they told the mainline pilots about 4 years ago...hmmm!

In talking with a higher-up of PDT today, it was mentioned that there will be a "major announcement" coming up in the next week or so. Could it be that something between PDT and PSA is in the works??

With Houk out, Crellin in, and Farrow nearing retirement, this could be BIG!! <_< (Farrow is the head of PDT for those that don't know)

Actually Houk and Farrow are sticking around, for now, they just report to Crellin now.
