PineyBob said:You PITbull I think you made one of the BEST posts so far on this because you're right. ALL of us have taken something from work. I have a stack of Post-it notes right here by this very computer. I use them to annotate my training manuals. Now does every single piece of the post it note go for company business? NO! One of them has the Frank from CWA's e-mail on it. SO technically it's stealing. I have all manner of office supplies here that aren't always used for company business. What companies look for are patterns of abuse.
There is some type of problem on the ramp in PHL because there is no way a cash strapped company would even attempt to go through with trying to set up video survielance on the PHL ramp. That is a very drastic move to make cost wise/morale wise and it's NOT something you tackle when you're broke so US must have been pretty desparate.[post="310844"][/post]
Video surveillance has been a feature of the PHL ramp since at least 1992, but, then, that does not fit into your fantasy.

and you know this, how? Care to be specific? or are you just spewing your "projections"? Just because you feel you are capable of lying, stealing and tolerating others who do, doesn't mean anyone else shares your criminal feelings.
PineyBob said:Then we get the "It's in the contract" lecture like the CBA was written By God Almighty Hisself and carved into stone tablets to be genuflected in front of on the way to clocking in and out! PERIOD[post="310844"][/post]
So, you feel free to change the "contract" you have with your mortgage company? Try paying them less than you "contracted for" and see how "flexible" they are........
PineyBob said:I grew up around and with guys who worked for Bethlehem Steel and to a man they used to brag about sleeping on the job, The places where you could sleep, How to hide from the foreman. The interesting thing here is that those who bragged the most about what they did were also the ones who screamed & Squealed the loudest that the "Company is Screwing us" mantra when Beth Steel hit the skids big time. I can not help but notice the bleating here and wonder if the same is true.[post="310844"][/post]
There are abuses in every system. How do you feel about Wolff taking his 15 mil after destroying U? What about the PHL chief pilot and VP flight bragging about how many days they have off. all the while the Xmas debacle is set up and, like day follows night, comes to pass?
Most any manager can tell you that Bethlehem Steel did not fail because employees were sleeping on the job. Amongst intelligent folks, that is a symptom of potential failure and not a cause.
But, then, you are likely mentally deficit enough to think there is an Easter bunny and the tooth fairy exchanges your baby teeth for money.
and your comments about cabin procedures are actually considered, valid?
