rumour : CO to Venice, Italy

Someone has recently reported on airliners.net that CO is considering flying to VCE, I guess in the near future. ("I just got word from a CO insider that CO is considering flying to VCE. I hope they start soon")

Does anybody know something more about this rumoured route?

Don't know nothing about the rumor if true or not. US Airways I think last year or two years ago flew PHL-VCE but only did it for that summer and didn't do it again the following year. Maybe it didn't work well.

I'm sorry but you are wrong about US. They started seasonal PHL-VCE in 2005, they flew again the route the last year and they'll come back in 2007 regularly. As far as I know VCE is performing well, LF and yields. In addition to US, DL fly to JFK and ATL both year round services.
