DL still issues them to mgmt. employees... You can spot them a mile away; they're the ones reflexively grabbing for their hips every few minutes...737823 said:Lol. People still use BlackBerrys in 2013?

I guess you didnt use the Spelling or Grammar check, now did you?737823 said:Lol. People still use BlackBerrys in 2013? Only a small handful of people at my firm have Blackberries, many of the strongest BlackBerry proponents made the switch years ago. Is that an IAMAW provides smartphone? Seriously I post on my iPhone while at airports, restaurants, and in meetings without the mistakes you do, so you need to educate yourself on how to effectively use your device.

Of course you had to somehow tie the tired old IAM sux troll food into it.
Get over it man.
Edit:
I forgot to add the gratuitous "lol" like you did, so here it is. Not only that, but you made a spelling error while pointing out that he makes mistakes.
Lol
Yep! I'm sure Delta management is the only management group, in the world, reaching for their hips !Kev3188 said:DL still issues them to mgmt. employees... You can spot them a mile away; they're the ones reflexively grabbing for their hips every few minutes...
By the way, the President of the United States uses a BlackBerry.737823 said:Lol. People still use BlackBerrys in 2013? what does a crackberry have to do with arguing in one post that Josh works for AA and then arguing in another that he has no industry experience?Excuse me I was posting from my BlackBerry while attending a charity event for Cystic Fibrosis.
And like I said, joshie, you are just the master of misinformation.
Ms Tree said:In a recovering job market where opportunities are scarce especially for unskilled labor, where else should the people are Wal Mart go? Not everyoe can work for Costco at $11.50 an hr to start and health benifits. Which begs the question. Why is it Costco can pay well and make a profit and Wal-Mart et-al cannot?
I am aware that supply and demand has an effect on wages (which is why Wal-Mart and others can pay so little) and I am not saying that they are slave owners. They are definitly taking advantage of the situation and trying to eeek out the largest profit they can at the expense of the emplyees. It's their right but I do not agree with it which is why I have not set foot in a Walmart in ages. I get mostof my goods from Costco and produce comes from a local farmers market. We only use the grocery store for things we cannot find at previously mentioned locations. We may pay a few bucks more at the farmers market but at least my money will not help support WalMart.
From what I read, no in store discount versus a 10% discount at Walmart. Significantly better health benefits at Costco as well. So let me ask you, if you were needing a job and Costco offered you $11 an hour plus medical, would you turn it down in favor of a Walmart job that paid 27% less, but offered you a 10% discount on the things you bought there?delldude said:
Maybe Wal Mart should start selling memberships.
Do they have employee discounts at Costco?
I would take the Walmart job in lew of "No Job", then look be looking for another, as I am a realist and know you cannot support a family simply by stocking shelves or pushing buttons on a cash register !KCFlyer said:From what I read, no in store discount versus a 10% discount at Walmart. That's fine for you. I was responding to Dell's comment that Costco ain't all it's cut out to be because their employees don't get a store discount and Walmart employees do. I think that argument was posted because Tree asked how come Costco could offer better pay and benefits and still make a profit. Maybe you could answer that....how come Costco can provide starting pay that is 27% higher than Walmart and offer better medical, yet still make a profit?southwind said:I would take the Walmart job in lew of "No Job", then look be looking for another, as I am a realist and know you cannot support a family simply by stocking shelves or pushing buttons on a cash register !
