Lots of people identify as Capitalist. Very very few actually are...CMH_GSE said:Kev, not so sure I "like" all the "new" people getting invloved if they aren't going to take the time to get educated on who they are supporting.
Bernie.
His main thrust is "free shite", awesome.
Let's examine closer , how would he do this?

And in the end, there really isn't any answer.
I would just like to ask any Bernie supporter to name 3 of the worlds best Socialist Societies.
Then we could see all the wonderful things we could look forward to here with Bernie running the show.
My dream matchup would be Bernie v Cruz.
Then, once and for all we could have the debate, Capitalism v Socialism.

You seem to be up on the subject.
For all of our reading enjoyment, give me your favorite 3 Socialist Countries.
You know, so we have something to shoot for.
They do such a bang up job at administering VA health care, imagine what a cluster it would be if they ran it all.CMH_GSE said:Wonderful.
Let's just start with Sweden.
About the size of California, land mass wise.
Population of 9 million.
California has 39 million, anyone see a difference yet?
This is a fun little site

The cost of living is higher there, you'll make less money there, your standard of living will be lower there.
And while I didn't take the time to look up their immigration laws, my guess is they are much like Denmark, in other words, very difficult to enter.
They had a total immigration this year of a little over 4,000 with a net immigration number of less than 20, yes 20 people net.
On to your question of spending 4% of GDP on defense, our GDP is over 17 Trillion,
Swedens GDP is $571 billion.
I think what we have here is apples and bowling balls, but we can examine the differences further and I will.
I can do the others later and I will, but I have a few things to do right now, like a job.

When are you moving to your socialist European utopia?KCFlyer said:I'm still looking for the country with a 10% tax that spends 4% of it's GDP on defense. The nearest I can find is Somalia, but they only spend .9% of their GDP on defense. But it sounds like a heavenly place, tax wise..
