Temporary Injunction against USAPA filed today

When i was at work recently i witnessed an east plane sit outside of the gate for 30 seconds for no apparent reason , everything on the ramp was ready for them to turn into the gate , but nope , they just sat there spinning their engines , plane clocked in 7 minutes late ... if you guys want to keep pretending like there's no work slowdown all the company has to do is get a few people with cameras ... no one likes to be kept waiting in 100 plus degree heat ...

When I was at work recently, I witnessed a west ground crew lounging in the shade while we waited for over 30 seconds with our engines spinning wasting fuel (unhedged)waiting to be parked. When we checked ACARS, the plane was late by 7 minutes. If you guys can't get out of the shade in time pretending you don t see us, all the company has to do is check the cameras. No one likes to be kept waiting and burning fuel, and making passengers late.......

if we make you wait , that's one thing , if you make US wait then that's another ...

you see if your waiting for us , then there's proably a good REASON , but as we know , the reverse is not true ...

i think what i'm trying to say here is END YOUR WORK ACTION ....

I'll bet you $100.00 bucks you're flat wrong on both counts.
He'll never pay. He's one of those in the angry minority over there that will never live up to anything, much less admit he's wrong and pay up. You'll be like Doug having to go to court to get him under control. For Doug it's worth it, but for you? A $100? Not at all. Don't even go there.

Your correct they have plenty of camera's, so what, write them up, next thing you should do is tell them how to fly the plane! Besides since you think you know it all you have no way of finding out you don't! MM!

Really Freedom? Really? YOU KNOW what is going on in that cockpit? You know that there was not a call from the cabin? From ramp control? An ACARS message they were checking to make sure they had to right gate? No, you don't know you are making ASSUMPTIONS! Why don't you stick to your job, the management team has it covered.

i'm making reasonable assumtions ... i've worked here a long time , and it's been several YEARS since i've seen an A/C just sit there with the all clear signals and not simply come into the gate ... i could see the pilots , they didn't appear to be doing anything at all ... sure i can't magcially teleport into the FLIGHT DECK ... but i think a reasonable person could assume that their intent was to waste time ...

see that's where you going to lose out in a legal battle , just imigine if you ended up with a sort of judge judy type of person ... they would tear your diluted arguments to shreads ...

people should know when their beaten ...... ( and know enough to try new tactics )

Did you ask them if maybe a reverser was MEL d and they used heavier braking, or were asked to turn off earlier, and the brakes were hot and they were waiting for the fans to cool them a little so they wouldn't blow up and hurt you? How do you know? You stop your work action!

Have you ever been on the cockpit jumpseat for an entire revenue flight?

there are a number of reasons why the crew waits to be parked. it could be anything from an MEL to a problem developing to pax disobeying orders etc not necessairly crews sittin there for the heck of it

no , but i play FSX from time to time ...

Then you don't have a clue and should really just do your job. I've done your job, you haven't done mine.

And it was :30 SECONDS, really?

Piedmont used to have a great program where ops/ramp agents could take a fam ride on the jumpseat. It was great because it allowed them to see our job, the distractions that go along with it, and to get to know one another better. A captain had a good observation one day. He said that no one really saw us work as the cockpit door was always shut when the real work went on.

i'm telling you , i got the feeling that they were sitting there just to sit there ... and it was 107 yesterday ....

I read the Wall Street Journal. The west pilots make me sick, again. What a tradition of strikebreaking and working with management. They rise to the occasion each opportunity. Out of the swamp. I also read the request. What is all the hoopla for, a taxi time less than a minute more? Franke Air is disgusting. No judge will buy into their accusations. They can't take your lanyards either. They can try, laugh at them, give them out. Is the company really that anti safety that they try to time your taxi speed? Look at the America West record. The FAA almost shut them down over their repeated safety violations. Franke Air better watch their steps. Taking Safety lanyards is the first mistake. Had they been smart, they would have ignored them, now they are the laughing stock of the industry, along with the western division that is ready to cross any picket line, take managements' side in any battle. They are disgusting. Don' t try for my jumpseat if you are west.
And the US Pilots scabbed and crossed the IAM M&R Picket Line in 1992, so people in glass houses shouldnt throw stones.

And you have the sweetheart deal you made with the company for all pilots to get paid even if they didnt fly and US grounded all the MD80s., DC9s, F28s, F100s and 737-200s.

Welcome back nos/sum

So you said...over and over and over. How many pilots did struck work? How many fixed airplanes? How many pulled inspections? How many signed off logbooks? A few cleaned up the trash in the back of their airplanes. Why were cleaners on the IAM contract anyway?

I am getting VERY tired of being called a scab. I've never done struck work in my life.
