So, 2 days ago the sale was "supposed to be off" now it is supposedly in full force and going to go through yet once again. I just want the management to know that if this sale does go through not to forget that you have a bunch of people that are finished with their 90 days and by oct. everyone will be and people are planning to hit the road... Our incintives suck ( what there is of them) so what is there to stay for.... Hopefully the greivances will put a huge road block in the way and stop this crap that managemnt has gotten us into yet once again and we have to put our money up to get us out!!!! I sure hope that Parker is well aware that this needs to be kept in house and remain as USAIRWAYS not EXPRESS!!!!

Transition Agreement

This week both MECs have been meeting with the company at our ALPA offices
to continue working on securing a Transition Agreement. Items we are
discussing include many of the areas that the company and ALPA need to
understand as we work to merge the contracts and seniority lists. Of
particular concern is protection of flying for both sides and securing and
bringing in-house the E-190 flying. There also may be an opportunity to
capture the E-170 flying. These aircraft need to be flown by our combined
seniority list. In addition, we continue to seek the promised protections
for all AWA pilots that have been stated in Management's Pilot Brown Bag
Lunches. We intend to hold both managements' feet to the fire to get a
Transition Agreement that protects our current flying and jobs, as well as a
framework for economic and other issues as well. At this point we do not yet
have a Transition Agreement negotiated that is acceptable to present to the
MEC members for their consideration. We expect to continue talking with the
management team about this subject next week. Stay tuned for further
developments.
