First Class Sheraton pies now on US Airways
US Airways has paired up with Sheraton Hotels to offer First-Class customers exclusive slices of award-winning pies.
The hotel chain's signature sweets will be served on domestic flights that offer a meal service through March 31, 2008. Four types of pie will be dished out over the course of the promotion, in three-month stints, starting with pecan this month until the end of July.
Flights over 3 hours and 30 minutes in duration that take off after 6am and before 7:30pm feature meal service. Aircraft flying to and from Chicago O'Hare, Indianapolis, or Columbus, however, will not be stocked with the Four Points pies.
Travis Christ, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at US Airways, explained that the First-Class perk was introduced in response to customer feedback requesting greater culinary diversity.
"Like Four Points by Sheraton, US Airways is focused on improving our customers' experience," he explained.
The initiative "promises to make their First Class experience more enjoyable and give them a taste of what Four Points has to offer".
