Actually, the mortgage mess was started by McSame's "economic advisor", Phil Gramm. While it's true that Clinton signed it, it was tacked on to the government reauthorization bill just before Christmas break. So please, don't make it look like Clinton championed what became the mortgage mess.

Dell...which Mcsame would you be voting for...the "maverick" who ran dead last in the primaries, or the 'candidate of change'...when the only change he's apparently made is his stance on the issues? He's old enough that I doubt he'd go for two terms, so what happens if he gets elected and reverts BACK to the stances that made him so unpopular a year ago?

I can name at least 4 complete reversals on positions that McSame has made between September 2007 and September 2008 - how many has "the big O" made? McSame has a Nixonian "secret plan" for capturing bin laden (remember, Nixon had a "secret plan" for ending the Vietnam war than he couldn't reveal until 6 years in office). You all like to claim that Obama offers no "plan" on how to accomplish this change....and McSame has? Other than "tax cut, tax cut, tax cut" that has become his mantra (and which is just one of the positions he has shifted on) - what are HIS planse?

Well...let's see...When the economy started downward after Bush took office, it was because of 8 years of Clinton policies (with a GOP congress). Y'all like to say that our current economic situation is because of 2 years of a democratic majority in Congress. I prefer to take your stance in 2000...it's because of 8 years of Bush policies. Given that McSame was a part of that Congress for the entire 8 years (there's that experience thing) and his 'plan' appears mighty close to the Bush policies, then yeah, I think that I might be willing to let Obama have a shot at it.

Little slip there....terrorist was in the singular (Osama Bin Laden or al Queada), which is the war we SHOULD have focused on. Instead we find ourselves in a country that had nothing to do with the attack on the US, based on what they "might" do, and by doing so, have INCREASED the terrorist presence rather than reduce it. Meanwhile, bin laden is still walking. And with hindsight being 20/20, we can pretty much safely say that invading Iraq was a mistake. So in my mind, the question becomes, do we want a leader that is willing to weigh all the options INCLUDING forming a coalition, or do we want to vote for a candidate who has sort of shown his hand when he sang "Bomb, bomb, bomb...bomb, bomb Iran"? I think I'll err on the side of caution.
