I don't think the world owes me anything. I've worked two jobs most of my adult life and raised 2 kids on my own. There's been no hand outs here; not looking for one either.

I am my brother's keeper. When I'm doing "ok", I want my neighbor to be "ok".

Survival of the fittest", is not my ideology and does not inspire one to encompass anyone but "self".

Yes I was around when the war in Iraq. And I thought then, and still think now that the ACTUAL threat outweighs any perceived threat any day of the week. Meanwhile, Saddam, who posed no real threat to the US is dead, and bin laden, who was responsible for the deaths of 3000 Americans is still walking.

If you learn to think critically and not just let people spoon feed you the news you would realize that you can not trust some people who tell you they are smarter than you, to lead you into war. that is scary that you would just assume people who are in control are smarter than you. Educate yourself. Bush said after 9/11 "just go shopping" that was a missed opportunity to really rally our nation to do some incredible things like conservation of energy and sacrifice in order to achieve energy independence.

I believe it takes more to fight a war than just military expertise. War is also political, for example just read what General Patton had to deal with.
