YEs...and while that wasn't very nice, it was a MILITARY jet they were taking pot shots at, and I'll betcha our pilots used a little weaponry of their own. But was that a threat to the United States in general? Compare that to the enemy we cut and ran from...who took a couple of Boeing 767 and 757 jets and FLEW THEM INTO BUILDINGS. Why is bin laden still alive if we were supposed to be fighting terrorists?

You want to know who Saddam was bluffing more than us? Iran. He was doing a very good job of it too. Now that we have taken out Saddam (and several thousand innocent Iraqi civilians) we pretty much opened the door for Iran to do a little terrorist recruitment of their own.

I have to ask also...isn't that what we did in Iraq? We invaded a sovereign nation (whose leader was hated by the guy who attacked us about as much as the guy hated us) in some war on terror. So...faced with invading a sovereign nation which would you choose...the nation that funded and sheltered the terrorists who attacked us, or the nation that didn't?

Well...the cousin of a brother in law of the barber for Saddam knew a guy who met with an Iranian in Prague. And we suspect that this Iranian fellow was a terrorist...and he was SO EVIL that it warranted shifting our focus from bin laden to Saddam because Saddam was due for another haircut and time was of the essence.

War is what happens when people are mislead and are lied to. Congress voted on information that was given to them by the Defense Dept and their Intelligence from information from the "80's) . And this Administration and McCain continue this sharade of ignorance for the sake of the military vets and their families who have lost loved ones, so it is not all in vein.

Iraq has $80 billion in oil revenues and the U.S. still funds the war, and payrolls the Iraq gov., military and infrastructure. And, no one talks about this.

Oil is still over $3.50 a gallon here.

Our Economy is wrecked because of this war. Even if we got out tomorrow, our children and their children will still be paying off this war.

Hopefully, McCain will NOT get elected and pull us into another war.
