What's new

Twu/Amfa Supporters

I'll bite. The problem was we had completely outgrown the old facility and something had to be done. There was limited office space to represent our members, limited storage to house documentation to support the membersip, limited parking to support the membership, an old storage building attached to the back of the old hall to prep cases for arbitration with limited climate control, the whole facility lacked security to protect the membership by way of fire, robbery, or other disasters. The need for expansion was very evident and steps were taken to build it. Great facility Local 514. You should come by and visit sometime. Membership meetings are generally the last Monday of every month, or if you would like, stop by any time during regular business hours and see the Administrative side of Local 514. This is your facility as a member, use it. 🙂
Ok so your saying be damned what the membership said 3 times and build it anyway. Ok thanks for at least responding

Hey AC dinker why dint you answer the question about the union hall. Hahaha cause you know it was anti democratic and a B.S. thing to do huh i love being able to shut you fools up
I really don't have an answer for you because I was not involved in any of it. I'm glad he had it built because we needed it.

So you would have been a yes vote and the no votes won?

Buck have you been drinking and cruising the net? Your humor quality is going down hill. I stated I was not involved in any way with ANY of it, not even a vote.

Dobby,

Never denied getting donations from the twu, local or international. Don v. doing favors? Again step outside of the comfort zone of your alias and state facts as they are in reality. Seat pitch in SAN? You imply I am helping contractors do work AA AMTs should be doing? You are a real piece of bovine excrement. Did your master slip you a piece of paper with that written on it telling you to type it?

GO AMFA!
Katrina,
No you didn't, BUT You sure DO side step the ARSA question quite well!

Yet you tell us this TA passed get over it move on/ but the new union hall vote failed on three different occasions and you say so I'm glad they built it anyway. Do you not see that you quite possibly be the biggest hypocrite in the world.

You see I don't blindly follow any person or organization so reading post from people like you makes my blood boil

And the ARSA and AA Corporate gave you money. Again, that is like accepting money for a Holocaust memorial from a hate group. The TWU giving money is not an issue.

Nope, Bob posted sometime ago that seat work was being outsourced to BOS and SAN.

Go AMFA, I mean TWU, I mean AMP, no wait...I mean AMFA again. Flip, flop, flip, flop, and flip, flip again.

You're funny Ken... a riot. Don't stand for anything but you Ken. "Look at me! I'm Ken and I am an awesome line mechanic. I rerack coffee makers and fix seat reclines better than anyone."

LOL

Dobby,

Your analogy of using the Holocaust is repugnant. Since you keep harping on organizations the AMTA has accepted donations from then post the other 62+ donors for the Wall of Honor.

I support AMFA and supported AMP because they have something your industrial catch all union doesn't have... democracy and accountability. Your childish attempts to show that I am anti-union is laughable at best. Seat mods being done in SAN and BOS have exactly what to do with me? These mods have exactly what to do with this thread?

cowardice + personal attacks = twu supporters

democracy + accountability = AMFA supporters

GO AMFA!

Wow, You must be a "TWU Supporter". You display those exact qualities from time to time.

No I have not stated "It Passed, Get Over it" I told elected TWU Leaders in NY to "Suck it Up because it is what it is" and "To adapt and overcome" because they are ELECTED Leaders that are supposed to be there for people like you and I instead of being the loudest most negative anti-advocates stirring all the Hate and Discontent and then blaming everyone around them. That is what I have typed on here. I try to stay out of the kind of conversations you speak of. Yes it is somewhat hypocritical of me to say that I am glad they built it anyway but what am I supposed to do, Lie? I think you might be obviously disgusted, mad and etc. and looking for whoever to type something against the way you think or feel so you can vent somewhat and that's cool, I totally understand where you're coming from.

Yeh I have no problem with who I am but thanks for asking. Retirement must really be bad for you to be hanging on here and being such a grumpy little old man. Take some lessons from MCI Transplant, he seems to be doing the retirement thing the right way just coming on here to keep up with the goings on. Plus he is from Gods Country so how could he be wrong anyway. He and I don't see eye to eye on some stuff but it is what it is.

We are getting closer to an election everyday gentlemen.

Get on board and let's vote!

The TWU is dying. They have allowed AA to rape and pillage the AMTs of American for too long. They are desperate now. They claim they were "fighting" to preserve all of our benefits and too busy to answer to AMFA and Teamsters. They continue to ignore questions such as why were 108 votes thrown out? The fact that there are still many people in Tulsa who support these morons is pathetic. If something is so broken you can't fix it, you get rid of it. That is what we are doing to the TWU. They do wonders for bus drivers and folks that work at SW, but we are neither of those. Soon they will be gone and not able to take from us and give to others.

So what about Bobs Super Local and Change from Within ? After reading your posts in the past where you apologized profusely to Bob I figured you would be on board with any plan he had.

Oh wait a minute my bad I guess he is on his "Read between the Lines AMFA" plan again after all his supporters started turning on him. lol funny stuff

Well you certianly like to make things up. I've repeatedly told management that I could care less if they add more heads, they had pretty much exhausted the recall list by the time I took office so there was no big push to recall out of our local. Out of the 300 on the list around 90% rejected it, they had since found better jobs.

The Vote YES coalition just screwed us out of at least $120,000 over the next 6 years.
$120K? Really? That is based on your dream scenario where we first go nuclear - abrogation, outsource all of overhaul, NMB grants release after two to three years of negotiating, and then a potential strike.

There was plenty of crying for recalls out of just about everywhere and you know it. Crying that there was too much work and not enough people while guys were caught sleeping, playing on their laptops, or maybe shooting a video or two with you, Gukelberger, and Chuck.

The great thing is we will never know how screwed we could have been under the Vote No Coalition's Operation Barbarossa.

It is not about the difference between needed or not needed the new union hall, it is the fact that three times the membership voted NOT to build it and the TWU did just that regardless of membership voting. And you wonder why nobody gets involved, or goes to the meetings anymore? Really?
