The TWU is dying. They have allowed AA to rape and pillage the AMTs of American for too long. They are desperate now. They claim they were "fighting" to preserve all of our benefits and too busy to answer to AMFA and Teamsters. They continue to ignore questions such as why were 108 votes thrown out? The fact that there are still many people in Tulsa who support these morons is pathetic. If something is so broken you can't fix it, you get rid of it. That is what we are doing to the TWU. They do wonders for bus drivers and folks that work at SW, but we are neither of those. Soon they will be gone and not able to take from us and give to others.

I expect those questions about the ratification will be answered soon.
If not voluntarily then through Federal Court Discovery procedures.

So 80 to 90 guys quit AA to go to SWA, how many quit SWA to come to AA?

IF SWA was looking to hire thousands of mechanics they could get all they need from AA. If they put maint in ISP I would try and be the first on line and would quit AA without hesitation, I suspect so would everyone I work with.

Fine. That's great of they can find a job with more pay. They should leave if there skills can get them more elsewhere and I am now typing a letter to WN to ask if they could please open ISP!!!

Yeh I have no problem with who I am but thanks for asking. Retirement must really be bad for you to be hanging on here and being such a grumpy little old man. Take some lessons from MCI Transplant, he seems to be doing the retirement thing the right way just coming on here to keep up with the goings on. Where the people who Quit AA "at risk"? Not from what I hear. We just had another 20 year guy quit , left the industry.

And your point is what? People quit all the time and move on. It is a personal choice and if they are unhappy in this industry then I applaud them that they have the courage to try something new and wish them well. \

Using your analogy we should pay people to stay on - sounds like you approve of retention bonuses.

It is not about the difference between needed or not needed the new union hall, it is the fact that three times the membership voted NOT to build it and the TWU did just that regardless of membership voting. And you wonder why nobody gets involved, or goes to the meetings anymore? Really?

Is it not written in the TWU Constitution or bylaws that the Local president is provided with avenues to make a Business decision to do such a thing as building a new hall ? I ask because I figure you might know Constitution and Bylaws inside and out as much reading as you do. Maybe the vote was just a courtesy type thing, like I said I think Burchette is the one to ask.

Do you not see a serious flaw for union strength and "unity" that you have harping about in that outcome and plan?

Glad to see you know the undemocratic nature of the TWU Constitution. This shows that you are not ignorant, but instead you are one that knows the truth, agrees with and supports that type of tyranny on United States soil.

Communism and Undemocratic Unionism are both vaild forms of Government and Unionism.

You have me confused with someone else if I am limped into your TWU is perfect file. I said before on here that there are things that are broken a need fixed but I support who we have Representing no matter who it is.
