TWU negotiations.........what?

Maybe secretive as far as publishing the updates, but Bob Owens met with the members last week as well as another negotiating team member. They gave us excellent and informative updates and all that remains for M&E are three outstanding articles.
maybe you need to corner your local reps and demand a meeting.

Are the 3 three remaining articles, money, benefits and retirement?

classifications what a joke the union GAVE the CO. the power to hire guys with basically no experince , but hey WTF I have guys that cann't change a light blub but want 200 hr LOL

I have completely given up on being a part of what goes on here. Every now and again I feel compelled to post, but for the most part, I am embarrassed to be a part of the "game". "Just get us a contract, move on and hope to get a pension", that is my motto these days. Because fixing anything associated with union or management at American Airlines is something I view as impossible and no longer worth time or effort. I do have an interest these days in the balance of the PH level of the Human Body, the diet it takes to maintain that proper balance of PH, and the Science behind it. That is something I can control, can understand, and have plenty of influence on. Want to read and involve yourself in something really worthwhile? the problem bob, no one here sees any light at the end of the tunnel. next week with a little luck articles 11 and 12 will have a agreement.

And still are membership lacks the full reasoning for the recent T/A being rejected.

They hired them. If they paid us right maybe management would get more support on cracking down on the slackers but management would rather keep the slackers and try and use them as an excuse why they dont pay anyone well, hell, you seem to have bought it. Seems like Pauly is one "those".....we have all seen them in our careers, had work with them. Those of whom think being a full-on narcissist, viewing themselves the ultimate in the AMT field....the best of the best of the best...SIR!!! Is actually going to get them somewhere, or a gold star on their sharply starched uniform. A tragic reality of truth is it won't.

It's sure hard to watch when the company dumps a load on Mr. Ultimate or when Mr. Ultimate doesn't get their way, because as most of us know by now nobody's perfect, and always don't get what we want...by a long shot.

Seems like Pauly could ply himself better as Mr. Ultimate in the manAAgement ranks, and really affect some change. If that's not the case already. 😛h34r:

Maybe one day, everyone will realize that spending time posting making attacks on others for their views or beliefs is about as effecient at fixing the problem as sticking one's head in the sand and ignoring the problem. In fact this method is probabaly actually worse than burying your head in the sand, because of the personal and alienating nature of this strategy. I still struggle to grasp the concept that personally attacking an individual is the proper method to convince them they should see things your way. May as well just get a baseball bat out and threaten to bully them into your belief. Or maybe even a swing or two to the side of their cranium will get them to understand they must agree with, think like, and be just like you.

Can one of you real union men, with all the answers please explain this concept to me so I might be able to follow along?
