Pretty sad when you have this type of reputation with your fellow unions on the same property. Here's a quote from the F/A's thread:

I would assume after the merger closes. How long? Who knows. I can't see how APFA loses a representation election with such a large disparity in members. Contrary to the belief on here, the vast majority are very happy with APFA. Plus, they already know the devil they deal with on a daily basis and we all hear about how crappy AFA is. Besides, why would you want to send your union dues to the CWA? It's like voluntarily subjecting yourself to an organization like the TWU. No thanks.

You just gotta love the last sentence, speaks volumes. I bet there is more even from the pilots group as well as the CS groups. Post them here if you like.

At this point I don't even think TWU is even trying to hide or fight their rep..., but why do they have to when the company backs them?.. It's like trying to fight city hall....I have serious doubts we will ever see other representation with the power and might of AA backing the TWU ,..(of which I'm totally 100% convinced of at this point),....they have pocketed millions because of the TWU,..... and keeping the TWU around is most probably in their behind closed doors business plan.

I will assume since you did not supply a link, you probably wrote this yourself trying to stir the pot. The TWU has a better reputation with other Unions that Amfa can only dream about.

is this for after the merger closes for the f/a to vote for representation or change unions?

It's realy easy. This is post #6 in the AA forum under thread "Which FA union will win a vote?" No I did not make this up. It is the same feeling amoungst many F/A's union leaders as well as other union leaders at AA.
Someone that would suggest that someone else is posting fraudulent info just to "stir the pot" as you put it, suggest that ones suggestions would be accomplished themselves. Carry on CIO, and yes it is a true statement, and FACTUAL as all can see from the F/A's thread. Any more questions? Oh wait, you still have not answered my question about removing the union officers, by the membership, at teamsters, TWU or IAM. Keep avoiding it, as it speaks volumes...

You keep signing off with the quote "In Solidarity".
There has been no solidarity since I hired on almost thirty years ago and counting.
Now I know why you sign off with your "In Solidarity" at the end instead of the beginning.
If the readers read "In Solidarity" at the top of your post then they would not waste their time reading your fiction.

Keep posting though it is quite amusing when others keep countering your claims.

And with that I sign off "Lack of Solidarity"

What a ridiculous string. You state that the TWU has a bad reputation with the other unions on AA property and your evidence is…an anonymous post on this board. If you want to know how the TWU is thought of by the other unions it might be a good idea if you started with their leadership. They would tell you that the three unions work well together and respect one another. All three worked together in pushing the US Airways deal and all three worked together on a number of other projects. I have read letters from both the APA and APFA stating their support of the TWU and opposing AMFA and AMP. I, of course, will be interested in reading any letters of support AMFA has in this latest raid from the IAM, IBT, SWAPA, or the three TWU groups on SWA property. I really think you should find another way to grind your axe.

I will call BS on your assertion that either the APA or APFA gives a rats a$$ about the TWU being ousted by AMFA. In fact, most pilots I run into, when the subject comes up - ask "when are you mechanics gonna get rid of the TWU?" As far as the APFA goes, they already paved the way for AMTs, as they left the TWU over 30 years ago - and have not looked back since. Take your lame 44 posts somewhere else poser.

Do you honestly believe the pilots give a crap about what union your in? They are too concerned with what's going on in their world to be worried about yours.

I don't believe the pilots could care less which union represents the mechanics. Oh by the way I will post where I want to post, OK. Yes you are correct they did leave 30 years ago, and their wages has suffered with each new CBA.

In CIOs world "In Solidarity" is defined as everyone else in the system accepting whatever the Leaders of Tulsa and the International decide. The welfare of the minority is of no consequence and they should just accept and support the voice of the majority(not neccisarily the will of the majority).

But, lets assume you’re right – neither the pilots or the flight attendants give a rats ass about who represents mechanics. This stupid topic string alleges more than that –it claims that we have a poor reputation with the unions that represent both groups. It is not true, neither the APA or APFA has said it is, and the people posting here have no evidence for it. I respect both unions and they can speak for themselves.

I assume you are talking about the F/A's with your 30 year remark. If so, you couldn't be more wrong. But keep trying. We were the highest paid in 2001-2003 and have always been close to the top. Our hourly wage is pretty comparable and will stay that way as well. How long has the TWU been last or second to last in industry wages? Sounds like for quite some time according to many posters on here. I don't follow what you guys do as that is not my business. Although according to many, at least mechanics are rather poorly compensated in regard to the rest of the industry. Let alone other industries. Thanks for your insight to APFA wages. It was enlightening! Keep trolling on subjects you have no clue about.

Where in my post did I state that any of the other unions at AA give a crap about what union the AMTs at AA have? Try to comprehend.

You're the one who claimed to have read letters from both the APA & APFA stating support for the TWU against an AMFA or AMP raid. With regard to your comment on FA wages and benefits, again, I'll call BS on you. My wife is a FA, and up until this year - I used her medical - as it was exactly half the cost the TWU negotiated for us AMTs. As far as FA pay vs the industry - always in the top 3. AA AMTs; on the other hand, DEAD LAST - IN NOT ONLY PAY, But everything else as well!
