United Overhauling Airbus's, in California!

This week United Airlines started an overhaul of an Airbus 320 at their SFO maintenance base, and more to come. It has been over a decade since United has accomplished an overhaul.

Not sure why we are doing Airbus overhauls, but they require more work then a 777 C check, which is going to be done somewhere else.

Doesn't the CO side do 737 overhauls or no?

Yet, the ibt neglects to mention cuts in the back shops. Our numbers are dwindling. Outsourcing continues to grow. The outsourcing committee promised by the ibt is a no show. Time to kick the ibt to the curb. Teamster power is nonexistent.
