US 807 CLT-PHX-HNL today...and tomorrow

Thanks for the report, WhatBag? It sounds like US enabled the crew to compensate for the delay, and those pax were very lucky to have you as an FA!

Enjoy your stay in HNL!

Edited to add: I see today's flight is delayed an hour. 🙄

I hope my wife and I are fortunate enought to have WhatBag? as our F/A in FC on our February CLT-HNL trip.

It looks like 807 made it again without a fuel stop; that's two days in a row! Of course it was late leaving CLT since 808 was late arriving because 807 was late the day before ....

Anyone know why 807 keeps departing CLT late? With the possible exception of the first day, I don't think it's ever been less than an hour late leaving CLT. Between late departures from CLT and diversions for fuel this flight has never come close to arriving on time.

Today's 807 used the same AC as yesterday's 808 but that's not always the case. Is this going to vary by day of the week or is something else going on?

Not really. lol Whabag? was looking after the customer as well as the crew and I knew it was too long for all parties to be miserable. Am I worried? Nah!

Yet again "The high cost of cheap" rears it's ugly head right beside the Doug Parker "F*ck the Customer" attitude.

Merry US FREAKIN' Airways Christmas yet again

It doesn't appear to be a case of re-releasing enroute. According to FlightStats, 807 went back and forth between non-stop and stopping several times before departure but took off planning on non-stop.

The service on this new route has truly been abysmal. This flight has NOT ONCE arrived in HNL even close to on time during its first ten days of operation. Here are the stats: December 17th- 2:24 late, 18th- 1:34 late, 19th- 1:52 late, 20th- 3:18 late, 21st- 3:11 late, 22nd- :53 late, 23rd- 3:00 late, 24th- 1:26 late, 25th- 1:49 late, 26th- about 5 HOURS late. Then, of course, the return flights have been late almost every day, causing mis-connections in CLT. This company is truly running a second, no, make that a third-rate operation.

Does anyone have any first-hand info about the aircraft routing for the GIG/HNL service from CLT? Is US attempting to run it with 3 planes and no spare?

Since you seem yo know so much, besides a few days with mechanicals, the other delays have been because of strong headwinds!! And yes causing fuel stops. We left on time today and still got in 30 late because of winds. BIG DEAL!! Do you check EVERY flight for chronic delays!! Geez. AND I DARE differ with your assessment of service on this route...at least INFLIGHT!!

If you want to define delays as abysmal service, then the great JetBlue would be extremely abysmal service with their OT performance or Delta for that matter!!
