Us Airways Phl - Sna And Pit - Sna First Class

I have space positive US Airways upgrades and was wondering if anyone flys these routes regularly? Philadelphia or Pittsburgh to Orange County, CA. I am trying to upgrade and was wondering which flight has a better shot at getting the upgrade. I have heard that the first class can fill up quickly on the A319 since it only has 12 first seats? Anyone tried to upgrade on those routes or have any guesses? How is the food in first on US Air transcontinental flights?

Flights are full and they end September 7th, US is pulling out of SNA, don't ask me why
