No not at all . I do think this is a way for them at least to attempt to get around your contract. Wasnt trying to harrass you! Dude u guys work on my aircraft that i fly. I entrust you to ensure im safe. I respect the majority of your group. I hope that clears it up.
I can assure you that the Mechanics here intend to have the contract that was signed by them in good faith with the company fully enforced. If not the company will cease to exists. If the Airbus work is going out the door then the company will follow it. The Mechanics job here is the lowest paid in the industry and it is not worth doing for any less compensation. Management needs to come up with a real plan and implement it. Constantly fighting with your employees is not the way to turn this place around.

I agree with that - at that point there will be nothing left to lose.

If you look it up in Merlin it breaks it down that way.
I don't know what you mean by "merlin breaks it down that way" and what does that picture have to do with any of this?

lol explain that to your creditors. I hope your willing to walk the walk my frinds once you have "made" that call. I do not support nor will i support "tactics" that equal what u say this company has done. If someone does i will not support your actions, nor will your fellow employees. If all else fails there is arbitration and the courts. You signed an agreement stating that when u disagree u both agree to have it arbitrated. You are bound by the arbitrators call. What about that do u disagree with>?

Explain how, other than a police escort off the property and recruit replacements, how can they make us get the work done? If we decide to take job action, it’s over.

You are way underestimating the power we have as a united force.

The pilots group would not support using some water for a person on fire for fear that it might cost THEM a nickel from their paychecks. I suspect there might be more sympathy from CWA.

I have nothing to explain to my creditors. In fact I have little debt and cash to cover it. Thank you so much for your concern. It appears to me by your posting pattern you must be flying very weird type trips as it is not conducive of a normal F/A's schedule. The Mechanics here have been taken so low they will not be intimidated. They have nothing to fear including losing a crummy job here. Maybe you better call your creditors to get all of your ducks in a row. Have a fantastic day because no matter what for the Mechanics on this property the future is going to be much better even without "U" in the picture.

Here's how it is for all you nonbelievers thinking the mechanics are a bunch of pansies. Take pitguy's words here and add them to the high 90 % of the other mechanics and you have a very real and clear picture of the way it is. Now I know you think I am blowing smoke, well I'm not. You see my job requires me to deal with most mechanics in Pit and CLT thru my fellow co-workers. This sentiment is echoed throughout the entire system, it's for real. What you’re reading from people like me on these boards is a mirror reflecting the true reality of the mechanics’ mind set. The threshhold has been crossed, the line has been drawn, play time is over. What pitguy said here is exactly the reality this management is looking at, and it will not change. The good captain can come on here and type until his fingers fall off but the reality is what pitguy wrote, it's over as far as we are concerned and now totally up to this disingenuous and very fallacious management team. God speed to all U employees.
