Balance the budget based upon the revenue you collect TODAY

Reduce the size of our worldwide empire, bring the troops home from the 900 bases and 137 embassies, then close about half of those.

End the following:
Dept of HHS
Department of HUD
Department of Energy
Department of Labor
Department of Commerce

Work toward a tax plan that eliminates the Federal Income Tax on all wage earners.

This would also end Corporate welfare as well saving trillions.

We'd be back to the tyranical days of Henry Ford. Overtime would be 'out the window', Safety regs. GONE, legit Work comp laws GONE.

Eliminating the DOL doesn't eliminate OSHA.

Eliminating the DOL wouldn't prevent states from having their own overtime and workers comp laws (which is already the case -- state laws defining higher benefits to the employee supercede federal law).

Eliminating the DOL won't eliminate union contracts, right to work, or closed shop.

Shut 'em all down. Take the Department of Education (a Jimmy Carter creation) with them.
