I have asked this on multiple blogs and social media sites. Just what percentage is someone elses "Fair Share"? Funny thing is I've asked the question since before Dr Paul entered the race in 2008 and have yet to get an answer. Why could that be?
Possible Libtard answers might be:
We haven't successfully channeled Karl Marx yet
We don't know because the Federal Income Tax is Immoral
The Banksters have yet to inform us of the correct percentage
The Crony Capitaists that fund us are pissed at us
The checks from Wall Street haven't cleared yet
We lost Ben Bernanke's phone number
We are as clueless as ever when it comes to how money works
We can't blame Bush any longer and we're paralysed with fear of being wrong

Thank you for your honesty. I think you have a solid point. Most don't like the loopholes that allow those better off then ourselves to get a break on taxes that allows them to pay less on a percentage basis.
What about a "Flat" tax with a twist? Say ALL wage earners pay 5% of their income no matter the circumstance? Then we graduate it up to a max of say 35% with NO deductions for anyone?
I don't believe in a Federal Income tax period. But since we have one it ought to be fair & equitable. Fairness dictates that EVERYONE pay something. The how much I'm not sure.

My loopholes are simple. Mortgage deduction, charity and for now whatever i put into my healthcare and 401k.
I feel the wealthy should have the same write downs I do.
I have four chickens that require food, water and labor to keep sanitary but I cant write it down. After all, it's a hobby. But, according to the news- taking it with a grain of salt, the Romneys can have a dancing horse and they can write it off on their taxes as a business that has no possibilty of making any more money than my chickens.
Close loop holes? Ok or open loop holes to the rest of us.
