Hey! You can/t be the red-headed stepchildren! Eagle has already had that title locked up for well over a decade!

Welcome to the "TWA Operations" of AA and congrats on your own independent airline under AMR.

Maybe we should roll your wages back to TWA scales and make you our "low cost" airline within AA to compete?----------------[/blockquote]

Let them call themselves TWA@AA@STL, with that kind of performance who cares.
It's better than the 6-7 different maintenance companies we have here in TUL, every line does things their own way, without ever benchmarking, to improve the flow of work or at least standardizing the paperwork.

Even as this post goes up, a new sheriff is enroute to the Apple to straighten it's ground and airport operations in order to meet the new standards being put in place with the arrival of Terminal 2004.

The man is 'old school' AA, but has been well versed on the 'STL TWA Gate Concept.' Long before it's acquisition, the TWA STL model was being intensely studied by AA for it's almost flawless performance day in and out.

Certainly there was a 'don't touch STL' by AA, in Kasher's ruling. Keeping the station basically intact with over 90% TWA employees would ensure AMR these numbers in the original post for years to come.

Someone realized early on that your can't buy loyalty, ( then again ) it has to grow from the ground up.

Again, Congratulations STL.

TWAnr,
Just how do you want them treated? Let me guess, you want 100% occupational across the board to displace senior AAer's from jobs and senior routes, right?
STL puts up good numbers alright, but looking back right now, I'm sure management wishes they would have never bought TWA.
And it will always be TWA. Don't you remember that TWA was the best airline to ever grace this planet?

Other stations should AALL be thankful to have a well run model (like STL) within the organization from which to learn and compete against.

TWA always ran well on the ground, but the oak paneled offices were filled with the morally and mentally bankrupt.
