I got a call from a friend today at JetBlu and they said they heard US Airways is closing ALL bases except for PHL and CLT - I don't believe they would give up our shuttle service - what do you guys think?

Actually, I think that this blog is extremely lenient compared to my other favorite blog where they will close the thread immediately for any hint of unprofessionalism, negativity, improper comments, digressing, and poor grammar is seriously frowned upon! Fun, huh?

Well - I heard from a friend that they were closing everything except DFW and MSP. And you all think you have bad commutes now - just wait until that happens!

Really? Maybe I should have stayed married to my third husband Frank! He is a 747 captain for Northwest Orient out of MSP. NOT!! I don't think any USAir gals are based in those cities. They must be American West bases and they haven't finished the merger. I know this becuase Denise wanted to go to Phoenix when they murdered PIT - but apparently we can't go west yet.

And by the way dear - until PHL closes you are more then welcome to stay with me in Philly when you need a place to crash before your trip - and any of your friends from PIT can stay too! Plenty of extra room at my place - and only 10 minutes to the airport. Maybe I should start renting it out to the reserves and make some extra cash - what do you think?

OK those are fighting words. I better never catch an American Airlines gal on my plane. I know how they stapled the TWA gals and Gloria is at war with them like a good PIT Bull should be. They are so speciAAl in the air, they don't even point at the exits in their demos. They just announce that exits exist. Really dear? There are exits on this Super 80? And everyone calls it an MD-80 anyways. I had so much respect for the American gals after 93 but they turned out to be so selfish. They only lasted a few days anyways in 93 - The TWA gals lasted much longer back in 86.

Well that is generous to let us stay with you but I seriously doubt any PIT gal coming this time will be anywhere near reserve. I am pretty sure we will be 100% blockholders.

Any other good rumors out there?
