I'm glad that you took it as a joke like I meant for it to be. We've all done our time...some longer than others. The current reserve system is the worst that we've ever seen, and on the other hand, the block holders are golden. The current system is all about the BHs it seems...we need to fix this with the new contract. Mean while, I have to say that the very best thing for me about US is the incredible flexibility. The money is not here anymore; I can not put my three children through school on this paltry salary. Would you believe me if I said that my last 15th paycheck was less than $5.00? Since I only fly 40 and they take out 35 in the 30th advance, plus minus deductions, that's what I get paid for the luxury of flying so little. So don't begrudge a long-time F/A...I chose to go back to school (eight long years) and I'm interning at the hospital M-F where my every move is micro-managed, scrutinized, and questioned. So, it's not like I just work eight days...those days are vacation days to me.LOL.....
They were never that nice when assigning me a trip like that!
