Tempe admits their err regarding the overhead bins in F/C:
A320 First Class overhead bin space (or lack thereof)
If you’ve flown in First Class on one of 20 reconfigured A320s then you know that we blew it on the overhead bins by putting everything but the kitchen sink up there (e.g. oxygen tanks, video players, survival gear) and took up space that belongs to you and your bags. We sincerely apologize and we’ve thrown that process into reverse and will be clearing the bins out ASAP. We’ve already started getting some of the equipment out and we plan to have them nearly empty no later than the early summer. It was clearly our mistake and you can take it out on us, but please don’t take it out on the flight crew; they’re on your side on this one. They’ve let us know loud and clear where we can put our “equipment.â€

For the first time in ages, I was able to access and print a Boarding Pass with no errors and no software glitches.

I had a reservation that was made for me by another company's travel department. I called US, got Manila and put my FF number on it.
Upgrades cleared as they were supposed to and I even got the notification email as specified!
First time that it has worked... booked through US or not.

I just received a another set of cards; just in case I lose my first two cards. Very thoughtful, I think.USAirways sent me two plastic United Health Care cards for Heath care coverage commencing Jan. 1, 2007...including my name, ID# and group #...and I've been gone since Dec. 2005.

If you read the cards it tells you that you got another set of cards because of a phone number change.

I just ended a great four day with a fun crew. I nonreved on a east flight to get home and they were nice and welcoming as always. OCC is moving to PIT. PAX in and out of JFK were actually not all that demanding. My chest cold is clearing up finally. My insurance finally approved my consult with a surgeon. Jetblue is making us look REALLY good. Dougie is going to jail. All in all, not a bad few days 🙂

It's getting warmer outside. That's the best I can do right now. I have to wait until I head back to work this week to see what's good operationally.

I had the opportunity to meet a young man(who posts on another board not sure if here) who passed through here yesterday. He is 20 years of age, same as my middle son, but he is deaf, junior in college very clean cut. Spent a little time with him communicating through his electronic device & him reading lips. Any way this made me have a very good night.

Arrived PHL on time, no ground stop. Carry ons off loaded immediately. Gate agent in jetway waiting for us. (F'd terminal)
Left PHL on time and with checked bags this time. Only waited to take off for 45 minutes.
In relative terms, a very good day.
