Fresh thinking? Subway runs much better than US Airways, and you get what you pay for.

Subway is notorious for being one of the worst companies to be involved with as a franchisee. They are the cheapest franchise to start so they can take advantage of recent immigrants and such, putting them in a situation similar to a pyramid scheme. But you know what... they are able to present a consistent, quality product that actualy is innovative in it's field... US does none of the above.

I disagree , in this new environment that the airlines are in , we need his fresh thinking and views rather than the old style of airline management.

He is a deadweight! America West is the biggest embarrasement that took on the US Air name! Man, what planet, or tarmac are you working???!!! OH my. My 4 year old niece could do a better job than the folks in Tempe. Those Fisher-Price Toys are better tools that what Tempe uses.

If Doug and his Phoenix family decide to stay let them do no more harm to an already slaughtered USAirways. I wish he and his colleagues the best in life but they were so short sighted that all they saw in the mirror was there own reflection. It has been so cruel and they tangle in the destruction of the Unions as they are possibly as crippled as Management. They have made differences as deadly as Communist rule. I hope not to suffer the cruelty of angry agents, pilots, passengers, etc etc. It is so difficult to remember what we once thought was tough, these individuals have set into motion an all time chant "you don't like it get out. If you are senior we especially want your number." If you do not believe what I have to say just wait and see many of you think they are playing with you but they are Dead Serious
