why are you asking about how many flights US has dropped in 6 years. ok lets say .... nada.. that means nothing in portuguese and spanish what US drops we pick up in markets that US makes for the city of PHL. when the un achievers that come to PHL who think that they will overcome and come here with 10-95 flights per day and think they are going to make a dent into US and THEY drop service yeah that is big time WN ELIMINATES PHL-LAX service in nov obviously tells the traveling public and SO CALLED TRAVEL ANALYES OF THE NEW MEDIA. that WN cannot beat what the CONSUMER whats... US has been serving the PA and Northeast for over 60 years when no one else cared... US is here to stay.

Avion...have you not read the US board? Judging from what I'm reading on that board (and the financial section of the paper), US isn't exactly "giving the consumer what they want"...FWIW...Braniff served Texas and the midwest for many years - and you see what that got them....

the company is losing valued Elite travelers to other companies. the competitors are matching our Elite traveler status if they can provide past travel statments and sign a guarantee that they will continue to fly so much for the next 2 years.this is nothing new as any airline would consider another airlines frequent flyer status. not used much but is being used now more than ever. Our frequent flyers are tired of hearing from Tempe... Im SORRY IM SORRY for the poor service we are providing you and ignoring you. the East frequent flyers need to be handled carefully. Also with DP telling the news media a couple of months ago "WE ARE RUNNING A SUBSTANDARD AIRLINE" doesnt have customers flocking to us

the reason USAirways is still around is because of its EMPLOYEES if we felt otherwise the company would not be here. we lost alot of great people many left on their own to look for other opportunites and the company did compensate them so they could. while our hub cities were courted and promising the world to Wn during our 2nd BK we the employees gave up stuff because we are proud of the service we have provided to communities for over 60 years when no one else cared. we as a company more than any other airline in recent history had so much going aganist it and we are still here and making MONEY. yes we have problems and they are being worked on by the employees as we work with mangement. the good thing that WN does is that they dont suffer from diareha of the mouth and broadcasts their problems. you went into Philly with the notion you can turn around an a/c in 20 minutes make that an 1hr and 20. so while you cutback in our beloved Philly and emlimate your PHL-LAX service in November we at US would like to say US PHILLY ROCKS...

Wouldn't you agree that its a little early in the game to get overconfident? US may have been in PHL for 60 years BUT you have taken on a new vision with the merger with HP. Don't count WN down for the count in PHL we have always had an ace up our sleeve!!!

HP joined the big leagues and things are changing with US . please if you have something up your sleeve in PHL do not say sleevo presto there is not a majic act in PHL you can have 5 more gates and it wont change a thing we work closely with BA LH AF and when you start international here they are waiting with open arms btw with the years here this company provided the opportunity to purchase property in the caribbean and now i plan to start building a home heh when you start overseas flights that will give me more ops to non rev.. thanks i have to leave now need to deposit a profit sharing check..

I worked for U for 17 years and was there during those bk's. Do you remember when they made our pay cuts retroactive? Not only did we take a substantial loss in pay we had to give the company back another 10% till we paid them back for the money THEY thought we owed them. Do you not remember that while we were taking those pay cuts upper management was getting bonuses for doing such an outstanding job? Do you have any idea how many lives were ruined because upper management was only concerned about the bottom line?

The only reason why U is still around is because management STOLE from the employees

Also, can you post some facts about the 5 gates? The more I read your dribble the more Im convinced you confuse fact with fiction.

hey tug calm down u made a decision to leave good for you where are you coming from with how much this and how much that yeah you mr 17 years talking to a 32 year person who lost his pension in 1992. u left goooood hope you are happy read up a couple of feedbacks and explains my site on things. this started as WN anncounces cutbacks in PHL in turned into #### we at Wn will not attempt defeat.. hmmmm im going on vacation tommorrow to my caribbean property that i was able to buy because i worked for US and starting to build a house because of US sorry you werent long enough with us to enjoy the goodtimes i and my fellow SENIOR workers have suffered but we are managing. good luck to you and may NO ONE IN THIS INDUSTRY SUFFER WHAT WE AT US SUFFERED.. we now work in a WALMARTED business where people expect service and they get nothing but a great price.. thanks WN for causing this 17 year person pissed off ..
