The IBEW has PULLED OUT!!! Offical Annoucement to follow in the next few days.

DO NOT BELIEVE ''HOPE 777''...THIS IS A LIE...LIE

I just logged on and saw this post and had to reply. The IBEW will be in LAS,DCA
and LGA this weekend. Thier card signing continues to grow. They will be in these
stations to answer any questions and to ask the workforce to sign a card for a ''change''.
We must continue to sign these cards . The IBEW is hoping to have more than 5000 cards
signed in the next 14 days. This is a chance for the fleet to have thier own bargaining agent,
not associated with any other airlines or groups in the workplace.
Please do not hold any posts from ''Hope 777'' as fact. I do not know why they would just throw
out a lie , I'm hoping they come back on an apologize.
I'm sorry I didn't see this post sooner.

Hope 777 You could not be farther from the truth! The IBEW guys will be in some of the western cities tommorrow and that's a fact! The fact is that this is another one of those I AM MANAGEMENT untruths! We will be doing other east coast cities this week also. The problem is that the IAM is trying to get people scared of change. We have continued to be used as pawns in this game of cat and mouse. The company has always dictated to the IAM what they will give them. The IAM has never demanded that they do the right thing by Fleet Service! They were very successful in getting what they wanted the pos. space. When they should have gotten back more for us. If they are as big as they say then why must they have pos. space on Usairways. They have taken more than enough of our money in dues to pay for tickets. This is a fact everytime they have gone in with the company they have came out saying that it cost money to run the union so they must raise the dues. Here is the score: Milk has gone up in the past 2 years almost $2.00 a gallon. Gas has gone up in the past 8 years $1.00 to $1.50 but your salaries have gone down in the past 3.5 years by $3.00. This can not continue because if it does we will be like the coalminers of old where we owe our souls to the company store!!!!!!!!!!

so true...we all know now that the comany and it's current ceo doesn't care about us, neither does the union. ...as you can see in PHL the company wants high turnover, uneducated, disposable workers. this gets them one step closer to outsourcing all of us...we've all read the TA and we all know that douggie is in a rush to outsource as many cities as he can.
they don't care...nobody cares.
it's up to us. we have to fight for ourselves. the current union hasn't done much in the last decade. lets give IBEW a chance.

As mentioned on the other IBEW thread, I recieved a phone call from someone in PHL this afternoon advising me of this information. Lets see how this pans out. I hope he was incorrect but his source has proved very reliable thoughout the years. Lets just see.

My friend, not a source, has told me that your post is incorrect. I speak directly to the
IBEW.'' Hope 777 '' you should know better than to post a lie. Your post says ''The IBEW
has pulled out !! ''. That is incorrect and is a lie. The IBEW will be in DCA,LGA and LAS this
weekend, and thats' the truth.

I hope you are correct, but time will tell. Lets see what happens in the week to come.
As I said, I am NO IAM FAN. I make much less than other cities thanks to the IAM pushing the Class I, Class II garbage thru the last time.

What you mentioned in the other IBEW thread was that you heard from a friend in PHL who heard it from a friend in TPA who has a friend in the know who says...
Who in their right mind would post on a thread something this unsubstantiated unless they were making a deliberate spin.
If you can not substantiate a post please refrain.

The IAM probably bought some South Jersey Beach homes for IBEW leadership to get them off the property. Would not be the 1st time Johnny Doc took some beachfront property in Wildwood as a bribe!

The IAM committee chairman in TPA is from EWR.

TPA was told the same rumor as Hope but called the IBEW for verification and found out it wasn't true.

This is how thw I AM MANAGEMENT union works 😛h34r: . Through lies, half truths, and deception. They promote self doubt, making us feel as if they are our only hope of salvation. If the IBEW was to pull out I would hear it from the IBEW not some I AM MANAGEMENT lackey on the internet. Unless there is good solid proof, not hearsay from a friend of a friend told me, please post it. Until then please leave the I AM MANAGEMENT lies out of it.
