Yes or no for the IBEW?

Just out of curiousity, other than shop committees and AGC's following around IBEW reps, is the IAM doing any "active" campaigning to convince you guys to keep them as your union?

Well,
We will find out tomorrow wehn they all get back from spending our dues on "hooker's and beer" in Reno. I am sure the people that went were told what to say and not to say to the membership. But IMO anything that will be said will fall on deaf ears.

Actually,

Tom Regan announced today in the CLT lodge meeting that the
Negotiating Committee was convening this weekend in Reno.
He would not say why they were meeting. He would not discuss
if the company was willing to re-enter into T/A discussions. I think
the release of teaser information was more smoke and mirrors
in attempt of giving us hope.

Which one is the real Tom Regan?

He'll need more magic than "How 'bout that Pension?"

If you look on the 141 website www.iam141.org they went to Reno for the District 141 annual convention. Like I said "hookers and beer"

You also have to remember the M&R are part of the COC and DL 142 will NOT give up on the COC Grievance, you see it is payback for what happened when the CBA was abrogated.

DL 141 would have more egg on their face if they gave up on it and Maintenance won.

Tim is on his own side, he has been dying for a union job since he started his first union, filed short on cards, caused a one year bad when the company imposed concessions on the non-union employees.

He tried for a job with the IBT during the IAM/IBT/USWA election and was turned down.

Became a Grievance Committeeman with the IAM at ORD and started FSU and annoited himself into the leadership during bankruptcy one, he was removed from office and then started the AGW once again annoiting himself and Pruitt as the leadership and he failed again.

Tried to raid the ramp at AA and tried to get a job with the TWU and made himself available to help them and when the DFW TWU President found out he informed the TWU local in PHX about Tim's actions and was removed from helping them.

Tim's actions over the years shows one thing, he is in it for himself.

What true trade unionist would file short on cards and cause a one year bar on organizing himself and fellow employees which resulted in massive concessions and layoffs?

eeeaaasssyyyy 700,
Although me and Jimmy Neutron disagree on this subject, we are at least having a respectable conversation between us over very important issues. You, OTOH, always reduce things down to the lowest form if someone disagrees with you. Although I won't attempt to reason why you do that, it is typical IAM. Let me just admit on record one more time that I am an #### and whore at heart. Can we move this conversation forward now or will you hijack another thread with personal vendettas?

BTW, nobody is voting for me and I'm not asking anyone to. When I present objective information this evening, I would hope that you will not be juvinile enough to start digging in on personal attacks, and that you will be mature enough to be able to discuss the issues in an intelligent way.

regards,

Last time I checked the truth is not a personal attack.

Answer these:

Did he not file short on cards when he started his first union and caused a one year bar?

Did he not try to sell his name list to the IBT for a job?

Was he not removed as Grievance Committee in ORD for Dual Unionism?

Did he not start Fleet Service United and appoint himself as leadership and tried to raid the IAM and failed?

Did he not start the Allied Ground Workers and tried to raid IAM at US and the TWU at AA and fail once again, appointing himself and Miker Pruitt as leadership?

Did he not offer his services to the TWU in PHX only to be told no thanks after the TWU DFW Local Lodge President inform him of his attempted raid on AA Ramp?

Funny all these things happened, not distortion, just the truth.

Isn't the IBEW a Root Beer company? LOL I'm just laughing my bunbariders off from making fun of people this week.
